The Westyinghouse 50" LED HD TV is a great value. Thin, lightweight and an outstanding, vibrant picture. Set to "Retail Display" for video that pops from the screeen. Speakers are so-so but an inexpensive sound bar easily corrects that issue.

I have purchased several Westinghouse LED HDTVs from Best Buy and all have performed very well. This 48" LED TV is the best value I have seen so far. While the sound could be better, the picture is great - vivid colors, excellent video during fast motion sports. I improved the sound by an acceptable quality by attaching a pair of low cost computer speakers to the headphone jack.

Not as bad as many reviews claim

Many reviewers really hated this Marvel film but it is fairly true to the comic book series on which it is based. I think that Jessica Alba was a poor choice as Sue Storm. Her hair in the movie is a weird color, not the platinum blonde which it should be. Ben is well-played and Chris Evans is fine as Johnny Storm. But Reed Richards comes off as pretty weak rather than the strong-willed leader that he should be. Victor Von Doom is great but his part is too small. All-in-all a good, but not great Marvel movie. You need to own it, just like you need to own every edition of the comic book if you are a collector.

Weakest film of the trilogy

After the stunning second film (The Dark Knight) the final film in the trilogy that began with, appropriately, Batman Begins, is over-blown (literally) and ultimately, a let-down. Key characters are all well cast and well acted. However, the central plot premise of a major city being held hostage by a small band of terrorists while a very meek U.S. government does nothing seems beyond any plausible possibility. Some of the basic fun which the first two films created by the very nastiness of the villains is missing here. Everyone seems just a bit tired and too ready to wrap up the long task of creating three films. See it only to bring closure to the first two films, but don't expect to be awed.

Under-rated due to casting issues

The Fantastic Four have always been a core part of the Marvel universe and this film captures much of their essence (team dynamics, wise-cracks, romantic triangle, etc..) However, Jessica Alba makes a strange choice as Sue Storm. Given the preponderance of Nordic blonde actresses in Hollywood, why select Jessica Alba, best known as the very hot Dark Angel? Jessica Biel would have been a far better choice in the Jessica category. Chris Evans is a bit wasted here - glad that they chose him as Captain America. Dr. Doom has a relatively small part in this film but is the most interesting character (and best actor.) Overall - a worthwhile addition to a Marvel DVD library.

The RCA 55" LED is actually made by TCL which produces very fine products. This TV is a great value - picked up mine for slightly less than $500. Color rendition is as good as Samsung. Only drawback to the video is that the screen is slightly reflective which means that bright sunlight will interfere with the picture. Not a problem at night or if you place the TV in a room without direct sunlight. Speakers are weak but a cheap solution is to plug in a 2.1 set of computer speakers into the headphone output jack. I did that and now the sound is great. The HDMI ports are a bit skimpy (just two) but that is a problem only if you need to attach a video game system in addition to a cable box and DVD.
Overall - best value in this size range!

Great supplemental TV or primary PC monitor

I picked up this 24" LED TV to use primarily as a computer monitor and to serve as a supplemental TV. It has served both functions very well. As a PC monitor it gives a nice, big work area with excellent resolution. But the bonus of having another TV available is great. I find that it pulls in all of the over the air HD channels with just a minimal rabbit ear antenna. I have also used it with my HD cable box and been very satisfied with the picture. Sound from the speakers is just so-so, but I added some inexpensive PC speakers at the headphone jack output and now the sound is fine. Great value!

How long does the hose extend? My room window is about 4 ft above the ground but I have a dresser right below it. Want to see if I can hook this up and let the hose hang over the dresser.

Water began to drop from the drain cap after a day of use. I'm using in auto mode with a set temp. I opened the drain cap and a good amount of water flowed out. Is this normal or an anomaly?
