Hits all the way through....I listened to Winwood in the 80s, but never ventured back into the late 60s to early 70s for Traffic, until the late 90s. Boy did I waste a lot time not listening to this seminal band. A little bit of soul, a little bit of psychedelic, and a lot of 70s rock, all these albums are great. The Hits are great, but do your self a favor and rediscover the original albums and songs you may have never heard, they are just as good as the hits!

It has been at least 25 years since I listened to any of the early Foreigner albums (had them on cassette, just never got them on CD, what a mistake). Great songs, incredible hooks, and unforgettable lyrics, Foreigner were the kings of rock for a short time in the early to mid-80s. This is the perfect choice for one trying to fill that hole in your CD collection!
That the best NIN album, hard to beat Pretty Hate Machine and Downward Spiral. With Teeth was good and this album is a little softer than With Teeth and little more melodic. I still like the album and definitely worthy of a listen.
Although I was late to appreciate rap (by some standards, I bought my first three rap cds in the early 90s (Ice T "Original Gangster", Beastie Boys "Check Your Head", and Ice Cube "The Predator"...all three incredible albums). Listening to Death Certificate for the first time, 26 years after its' release, I am floored by how great this album is...if do not own this album, you should change that.,
Like AC/DC, you always know what you are going to get on the new album same as the old ones. But the key is to make that new album sound fresh and pound your eardrums. Kreator do that with each release, incredible visual lyrics and pulse pounding beat throughout. Great album!
Lizzy Borden never had mainstream acclaim in the 80s but they have kept on rocking, with several releases in in the 90s to early 2000s. This one is the classic debut full album and shows their raw metal edge in the early days... A must for any true metal head from the 80s.
