Safeguard your NVIDIA SHIELD K1 tablet against accidental damage with this NVIDIA 930817610641500 cover, which is made from polyurethane material with a microfiber inner lining for reliable defense. An adjustable stand offers a clear view of the display.
It's a magnetic screen cover when closed and a back cover when open. It can be folded into a stand which can't really be adjusted much, but you don't really need to adjust it thanks to the type of screen used with the tablet. Minimal viewing angle issues, if any at all.
This only protects one side at a time though. I thought it was a back and front cover, but it's a piece of plastic with magnets in it that attaches to a specific spot on the side of the tablet. The flap then covers the front or back, depending on whether it's open or closed.
For what it is, it works well. However, for the price, I can only assume/feel that there are better alternatives out there. If you want something designed to work with your Shield tablet, this is a good accessory to have. If you like to look around and take your chances, I'm sure you can find better for less.
Navigate menus, play games and write with precision on your NVIDIA SHIELD tablet using this NVIDIA SHIELD 930817610100000 stylus. GPU-accelerated NVIDIA DirectStylus 2 technology and handwriting recognition ensure fine-point control.
Very useful for the tablet, especially with the doodle app that comes with the tablet. You can also use it for handwriting or if you need to select something specific on a website without have to zoom in.
In case you were wondering though, it only seems to work with a shield tablet. It doesn't seem to work on anything else with a touchscreen.
Keep your NVIDIA SHIELD K1 tablet powered while you travel the globe with this NVIDIA 930817612500000 world charger, which features a USB interface with 5.2V, 2.1-amp output power and comes with 5 international plugs for the U.S., UK, EU, AU and CN.
If you travel around the world a lot, this is a great kit to buy. If you don't travel much, or at all, there's little reason to buy this kit.
It's a plug that can handle 110-240v. However, it's not just a US style two prong plug. It comes with face plates that you swap around to the appropriate prongs. If you go to Europe, you'll have to pop off the US plate and snap on the European plate. Go to somewhere like the United Arab Emirates, you'll have a plug plate for that too.
If you're military and move around a lot, or just a general world traveler, great set to have. Otherwise, just stick to whatever Micro USB thing you have to charge your tablet with.
NVIDIA SHIELD K1 Tablet: Game your way to greatness with a responsive 8" multitouch screen, 192-core NVIDIA Kepler GPU and support for Full HD 1080p resolution. Plus, you can snap high-quality photos and enjoy video chatting with the 5.0MP HDR front- and rear-facing cameras.
You'd be hard pressed to find a better Android tablet on the market for the same price. In many ways, this tablet is smoother and better than ones at the higher end of the scale, especially if you like to play mobile games. This thing has no slowdowns or stutters. The screen might not be as high resolution as something like the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2, but for an 8" tablet, it's really not necessary. Visuals are still crisp and clear, with bright and vivid colors. The speakers are loud and clear. If you have a desktops or laptop with the appropriate graphics card, you can stream games from your PC either at home or using Wifi when you're out and about. You can also subscribe to Nvidia's game streaming service and steam games from there.
Battery can be an issue, but only if you're doing 5-6 hour s of mobile gaming at a time or about 4-5 hours of game streaming at a time. Watching Netflix or similar service can run about 6-7 hours before you'd have to worry about the battery dying. General web browsing has minimal impact on the battery, but even then, it seems like continuous use will require recharging around 8-9 hours. It has good standby time. Mixed with off and on internet usage, you could get away with only recharging every other day.
This also doesn't come with a charger, but it takes any micro USB plug which I'm sure everyone has one somewhere. It doesn't have quick charging that I'm aware of, so it also takes some time to get full once it's depleted. You can always buy the world charging kit from Nvidia, but unless you plan on traveling a lot, I wouldn't recommend it.
