Originally bought the Asus Q304 for $500 but exchanged it for the Lenovo 710 14 on sale for $600 which comes with a nice 14" screen and small bezels. The deal breaker for me was the loud fan which would come on doing light intensive work. Ended up with the Dell 7378 on sale for $600 which comes with a smaller 13.3" screen but is quiet and has an infrared camera for Windows Hello which makes it feel high end. The Dell doesn't flex in the middle of the keyboard like the Lenovo. The Asus, Lenovo an Dell all have an aluminum chasis but the Dell feels much more solid. If there is an update to the bios or software to lower the fan problem on the Lenovo 710, it would be a great choice. I do like the design but in the end the Dell 7378 came out on top.

Originally purchased this Asus Q304 for $500 on Black Friday. Nice solid build and comes with a finger print reader for Windows Hello. Comes with 6gb ram and 1tb hdd. Great laptop for just surfing the net and playing older and newer title games on low settings. Only complaint is I wish the hard drive was ssd which is so much faster. You could swap out he hard dive for an ssd but why not just pay a little more and get a laptop that already comes with one. I also tried the Lenovo 710 14 which has a nice 14" screen with small bezels and 8gb ram and a fast 256gb ssd hard drive which was on sale for $600 but the fan would come on while just surfing the net. Ended up with the Dell 7378 for $600 and has a 13.3" screen. The Dell has a infrared camera which is great for Windows Hello. If you are able to get the Asus Q304 at a great price and don't mind the slower hard drive but need a 1tb hard drive for space, then the Asus Q304 is a great choice.

I was looking for a laptop for my son and I and bought the 15" 7579 when it was $550, what a deal! During and after Christmas time I bought the 13.3" Asus Q304, the 14" Lenovo 710 14, and this 15.6" Dell 7579. The Asus was on sale for $500 during Black Friday and was great except for the 6gb of ram and the slow 1tb hard drive. I did like the fact that it had a finger print reader for Windows Hello. For $600, I got the Lenovo 710 14" with 8GB ram and 256GB ssd. The reviews were right about the fan being loud and was always turning on even while just surfing the net. Also when typing, the keyboard would flex in the middle. I did like the 14" screen with small bezels but returned both the Asus and Lenovo and got the 15.6" Dell 7579 for $550. The Lenovo 710, Asus Q304 and the Dell 7579 have an aluminum build but the Dell felt solid. No flexing and no creaking like the Lenovo. The fan only goes on when doing demanding things like playing games. The specs were the same as the Lenovo having a fast 256gb hard drive and 8gb of ram and the built in infrared camera for Windows Hello makes the laptop feel high end. I also bought the 13.3" version, the Dell 7378 for $600 which has the exact same specs as the bigger 7579 but with a smaller screen. My son has the bigger 7579 which he uses for school work and I enjoy the smaller 7378 which I use in bed. The Dell feels much more high quality than both the Lenovo and the Asus. My son uses his 7579 for school work and to stream Xbox One games which is pretty cool. I use the 7378 for playing older title games on low settings due to the built in HD 620 integrated graphics. Having tried all three brands, the Dell came out the winner!
