HBO keeps surprising me with each new series they bring out and True Detective is no exception! It's filled with suspense, heavy set drama, action, and some of the most amazing cinematography I've ever seen for a TV Show. The show is very compelling and grabs hold of you for start to the horrifying conclusion.

I was very surprised by this movie. I wasnt expecting much at all being a Nick Cage movie and it's under 1hr & 35mins but again I was surprised. It was actually very good. I do wish the movie was longer to developers the characters more and expand on a few others things but all in all it was a good fun movie.

Yes the acting is def Oscar worthy. But other then that I really didn't see what all the hype if this movie was about? Is it a good movie ? Parts of it are. But it was worth $8.99 any more then that I would have passed it up for something else. It's a movie I'd watch once or twice but not again.

This is just like the plot and characters as in Top Gun. But having not just the same actor Tom.Cruise along with the same writter and director from Top Gun it's not hard to tell they swapped fighter jets for race cars. It's not the greatest movie of Tony Scott but it's worth a viewing or two. The audio makes this bluray. The DTS 5.1 is very aggressive and thunders as the cars zoom past eachother. The bluray was only $4.99 in that resocts it's worth buying but more expensive then $4.99 pass. Not worth it.

If your at all familiar with either or both Nicholas Cage and director John Woo then you know what your in for. The premises of the movie is awesome, the action scenes are brutally violent. But the movie it self suffers quit a bit. If your in the mood for just a entertaing mindless popcorn action movie this is for you.
