Great value for great performance

This isn't the first HP Envy I have purchased but it is certainly the fastest. I made a slight boo boo by instantly swapping out the 1 TB HDD for a 500 GB Ssung SSD before creating restore discs. Although this turned out to be a pretty good idea. I simply created a windows 8.1 disc from Microsoft's site and reinstalled.
The reinstall went smoothly and I quickly migrated apps documents and setting from a old machine. With the SSD and the rest of the specs this laptop blazes through any content. I haven't played any games but I imagine it will do well with many titles.
Overall this computer is going to be used for work related tasks. And right now it can handle anything I throw at it with out a hick up. Even the WiFi is connected at a strong 600+ Mbps.
When it comes to computers you get what you pay for. A little extra went a long way with this machine. Even as is, this machine would satisfy just about any need.

Great Lil fridge

We purchased this fridge to hold us over until our new one came. We then sold it to my father for us at their retirement home. It cooled pretty quickly after getting it home and kept 2 gallons of milk, several other food items and a 12 pack of pop cold while we waited. I was astonished the first time our new Bosch dishwasher ran. It actually has a light that shines on the floor while it is operating because it is so quiet. That emblem less sleek steel design means it fits in perfectly with our other samsung appliances.
Quite simply this dishwasher is well worth the extra money. Space, simple installation, ultra quiet and oh yeah it gets ur dishes really clean.

Love this fridge

At first I was afraid we over bought for our space. When the best buy delivery arrived I was pleasantly suprised at how well it fit. The through the door functionality has been a great addition.
The space is great, we basically doubled our capacity without actually taking up any additional space which astonishes me. Like most things it keeps things cold and frozen, but this fridge does it very well. We can store a week of lunch and suppers without any of the food going bad.
I think we got a steal at just over $2000 when combined with a samsung range and microwave. Plus a bosch dishwasher. Best buy made the whole process pleasant and satisfying.

2nd hard drive cable
Does it have the caddy and cable for the 2nd hard drive?

It does not have the extra HDD caddy or cables. The bay appears to be specifically designed for the DVD. Not sure thus particular model has the option.

Replacing The Hard drive
Does any one know of any guides on opening this Laptop to replace the hard drive with a SSD??
I did a Google search for the technical support manual. I can't remember the model number off the top of my head, but you can find it under your battery. Although the guide doesn't mention specifically replacement for a SSD it does show you how to open the case and remove the connections.
