Blu Ray Wifi vs. TV Wifi

I am looking to get a new TV and Blu Ray Player. If a Blu Ray Player has built in Wifi capabilities (mainly looking to stream Netflix or Amazon) do I need to connect my TV to the internet as well (via Wifi)? I'm not sure if one device being wifi connected is enough or both blu ray and TV have to be connected...
I have the Samsung Blu-Ray player and I connect that to my wi-fi and have it hooked to my tv with Hdmi cable and stream that way. Works fine

It does have closed captioning and its at the bottom of the screen. good tv.

do you need to buy a antenna for a hd tv ?

If you have an antenna on your house you can just run the cable to your tv and enjoy all the channels it picks up. I get 18 channels, some of which are broadcast in 1080. If you do not have one you should look into some of the ones at best buy. There's a few you can buy that will pick up a lot of channels, but don't get the cheap ones, they don't work.

the adapter that came with the headphones doesn't fit in my tv outlets.
You will need to get the audio cable that have the red and white plugs on one end( to go to the tv) and like a headphone jack on the other to plug your headphones into.
