The all-new Magic Mouse 2 has been enhanced to deliver more comfort and functionality than ever before. It includes a built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery that charges fast, lasts about amonth or more between charges, and eliminates the need for disposable batteries. With the included Lightning to USB cable, you can charge your device and automatically pair it with any Mac.

I was forced to buy a replacement for the Mouse that came with my Mac when my old one stopped working one day. When I went into Best Buy my jaw dropped on the floor when they told me it was $80! So I bought it, but also picked up a Logitech for $12 on sale to see if it would work (or if it would be compatible) Not only was Logitech way cheaper, but it worked immediately within seconds and was so comfortable in my hand while using. While the $80 Apple mouse is sleek and nice looking, but the Apple mouse was not comfortable in comparison. AND the Worst part was after spending $80 for an Apple mouse for an Apple computer, one would think that it would work immediately... NOT the case! I had to read the directions to figure it out and took @ 5 minutes to setup with a few steps to complete pairing. The $12 Logitech mouse literally I opened the package, plugged the USB thing in the back, and it worked immediately! So I would NEVER recommend the $80 Apple Magic Mouse unless you are looking for Carpel Tunnel, there are much Better and Cheaper options out there.....

I bought this mouse because it was so cheap and the replacement Apple mouse was $80 which I did not want to pay, so I was looking for an alternative. Not only was the mouse Cheap, but it is SO comfortable to use! This is by far The BEST mouse I have ever used. Right out of package, I plugged the little USB into my computer and it worked immediately.... The way it should be. NO need to download any additional software and NO pairing or anything overly complicated. Just plug in and use. Also, works on ALL my devices! Apple iMac, Windows Laptop, and Android Tablets..... For less then $25 you can't go wrong!

Will this work with an apple iPad or Mac ?

It should work on the Mac because the one I bought worked perfectly and just plugged in back and worked immediately. As for the iPad, the mouse uses a USB port, and on my iPad, I don't have one, but you might be able to purchase an adapter that is a iPad plug on one side and a USB port on the other side. I bought one for $3 on Amazon for my Android. So Yes it will work on both, but right out of package will only work on Mac until you buy an adapter for iPad
