Canon put the LCD screen magnification button right next to the zoom so you can accidentally touch it and have no idea that what you are looking at on the highly magnified LCD is what the camera is actually recording. There is a tiny indicator on the screen that alerts you but not enough, secondly, getting the data into an editing program is not directly supported by Canon, haven't been able to burn a DVD yet....client is waiting. Apparently I have to purchase new editing software and maybe a new computer to adapt.....Otherwise easy to set up IF you read the manual. You MUST close the CF card doors, format the cards or nada.

What is the difference between AAA batteries and AAA4 and are they interchangeable? Thanks
AAA4 are smaller length from what I've seen, probably less ma as well

What the current capacity in milliamps?
They don't say the milliamps, they are alkaline and work great for most of my applications, remotes, led lights.

what camcorders hook directly to a dvd burner?
i want a camcorder that hooks to a dvd burner so i dont have to load it on my computer to make a copy
If both your camcorder and DVD recorder have the same input/ouputs such as mini-dv to mini-dv or hdmi to hdmi, component out to component in, you should be able to do your recordings directly without a computer interface. It would be a good idea to have a monitor on the DVD recorder to see what it is seeing and that all your settings, inputs have been selected to its satisfaction so you don't come up blank.
