Fantastic Router

Wow, The router practically set it self up. Plugged in, connected and turned on. My PC automatically went into the UI set up screen. I chose to use the same device access Password from my previous router and all my devices (12) were automatically connected. It took approx. 5 minutes. The Linksys range extender auto connected as well. I immediately noticed faster relay times with the 1.8GHz processor. I was very disappointed with the length of the power cord. I had to rearrange the position of where the router would normally be to bring it closer to the power outlet. The plug end is very large and makes it difficult when plugging into a power strip. I did not have this problem with a previous Linksys router. It is still a very good router.

Decent Tablet

Boot up takes approx. 1 minute. Feels fairly light weight & has a textured back. Solid glass front seamless edge to edge over white frame is very nice. I was real impressed with the large front facing speakers which produced a very good sound quality and volume. I tried a few YouTube videos and was pleased with the quality and sound. I checked the internal memory and found I still had 23 GB even after installing a few apps. The processing Ram (1GB) is too small and was nearly at capacity, I would have preferred at least 1.5 GB. The response time was slow when opening apps, but still functioned ok. The battery lasted 12 hours with normal use and also watched a few videos. Acer also includes a nice plastic stand to rest the tablet on. I took a few pictures and found decent quality. The SD card slot and USB port are under the top chrome cover. This is a nice tablet with the exception of low Ram.

The box was slightly crushed in shipment, but, the product survived. Set up was very easy. I was cleaning with in 5 minutes. The cord is very long-Approx 25'. This is not a extractor, it is a cleaner that has some extracting capabilities. It did ok for me. I felt the suction power was a little on the weak side. This product will be ok for minor cleaning of area rugs and great for bare floors. Very easy to store away.

Almost Perfect

The Laptop comes nicely packaged. It is very thin and weighs less than 2.5 lbs. Looks vey good at a business meeting. The screen display is very crisp and bright. The back lit keys are definitely a plus and feel nice to the touch. Boots up in seconds and ready for tasking. I also enjoy the fast AC wireless and connecting to my TV wirelessly. The processing speed is incredible. The battery last's approximately 4 hours, however, I am using full screen brightness. The cooling fan does run quite a bit which may affect battery life also. Videos load good and have great HD. HP could improve the design by making this a 2 in 1 and adding a touch screen and then it would be perfect. It does come with a USB C adaptor so you can adapt other devices such as flash drives or SD cards which I do quite regularly. I also use a blue tooth mouse. Another plus is the included sleeve protector. I am very happy with this Laptop and would definitely recommend if you are looking for the newest state of the art design in a Laptop.

Smart Technology

Set Up for me was a little awkward. The unit powered on ok. I attempted to follow the instructions and did not initially see the wifi link to select for set up so I manually set this up with the IP Address and manually configured. I do not recommend this if you want seamless roaming. I discovered later, the 2.4 band had self disconnected and would not reconnect. (my Fault) I contacted Linksys for assistance and the problem was solved and I now have seamless roaming from room to room. The extender must import the main router SSID's for both bands for seamless roaming. I now have a great WIFI experience with the RE7000 Extender and the EA9500 Router. These 2 items make a great pair.

Great Performance

Set up was easy. The Linksys Logo appeared for set up within a few seconds. Clicked on router SSID and was taken right into set up and was up and running. This Router is a beast. You can feel the quality in the weight of the unit. I put it through the paces. I connected 4 laptops, 3 are AC wireless compatible. Connected 2 Rokus,
Connected 2 WiFi TV’s, Connected a Blu-Ray player. Connected 3 Tablets (1 is AC compatible) Connected 3 smart phones, all Android, Connected 2 desktops. Connected a WD MyCloud Drive. This is normal for my house cause I am a PC Tech. All devices had good connections. I streamed music and movies to the related connected devices. I also Streamed music from the My Cloud to remote locations and found worked ok. The laptops had connections at the 866.7mbps. The other devices connected at lower speeds but most
Of them usually are averaging 500mbps & is pretty normal. I performed a router speed test and was satisfied with the results. See the Pics. Now, I did find when navigating through the router settings, the router will time out and I have to refresh the page, not sure yet if this is a Linksys thing or a Windows 10 Thing. I’m still investigating. I also discovered when viewing the network map, I could not see Guest Connected Devices. The Guest access was also open with no encryption on some of the devices. I connected a smart phone to test this and connected w/out a password. I contacted Linksys on this and resolved the problem with a Router Firmware Reflash through a remote desktop connection with Linksys and all was good, we also discovered an improper sync with the range extender (possibly my fault) and that was resolved also. The new technology with the EA9500-AC5400 Router and RE7000 Range extender truly pair up for seamless roaming between rooms. So far all is good and would definitely recommend this router for a high performance result. The user interface of the router is fairly simple and can also be monitored with a smart phone app. This could also be a good small business router with the availability of 8 high speed Ethernet ports. I’m currently using 3 ports consistently. The other ports are nice for me when connecting other PC’s that need repair. I did not test the USB ports but suspect they will work just fine.

What's the battery life like?
I am averaging approximately 4 hours with full screen brightness and normal surfing and document writing.
