Purchased this for a friend's laptop Who's onboard WiFi card went bad. Plugged this in and installed driver for Windows 10 and works perfect. Has a small profile which is perfect because anything larger they get easily broken. The best it supports AC which is the fastest Wireless signal. It also works with older routers if you still have one. If your router isn't AC it's time to upgrade because it's made specially for mobile devices and of course laptops. It can be used with a desktop as well.

Great Display Port to HDMI adapter

I purchased this for my Asus G20 Oculus Rift computer. The video card has 1 DVI, 1 HDMI and 3 Display Ports. I have my TV plugged into the HDMI port. The Oculus needs an HDMI port as well. So I purchased this adapter which I used to Plus my TV into and decided to plug Oculus Rift onto HDMI port directly onto the video card. This adapter works great with my TV.

I only buy Microsoft keyboard and moves ever since my $100 backlit Wireless keyboard from Logitech, lights went out on me 6 months later. Called Logitech support and they wouldn't do anything for me. Very horrible tech support. Back to the keyboard and mouse. The keyboard is very comfortable and keys feel real good, not cheap when typing.

Great genuine HP toner

Purchased this for a friend. Keyboard is light and feels very comfortable when typing. Wish it was backlit. The mouse feels weird ay first but is very comfortable. I thinking of getting this for my media PC connected to my TV. Just sucks that keyboard is not backlit since buttons are black and if the room. Is poorly lit you couldn't see the keys right. This is why I have it 4 stars instead of 5.

Not many options for bluray players these days at the store since most TVs come with Netflix, Prime, Hulu, etc... But if you want to play a disc you will need a player. I always stick with the brand of TV when I buy a Blu-ray player because you can use the Blu-ray Remote to control the TV and not have to look for other remotes.

Would the nighthawk work with any motorola modem
Yes, hopefully you have the new DOCSIS 3 Motorola SB6141. You will need it since both Comcast and Verizon will be soon raising everyone's speeds up to 300 Mbps within the next year or so due to streaming demand like Netflix plus they are completing against each other.

Is the R7000 more stable and robust than the Airport Extreme (802.11 n and ac)?
We've been using an Airport Extreme Base Station (802.11 b and g), but we're having to reboot once or twice a month. So, we're considering the Nighthawk. thanks.
Go for it. It is one of the residential routers on the market. Has far range and good load balance. Has AC which works with all the latest mobile devices.
I've installed 10+ Nighthawks and not one complain yet. I've had mine for over a year and it works great. Very happy with it. Blankets my whole property well.

Does it work with FiOS?
I called Verizon and they claimed that I needed to buy one of their routers from them. I am a little skeptical of this.. lol. They told me that I would need to buy one of their routers because their network brings fiber-optics directly to my house. Any FiOS Quantum users out there that can confirm that this works? Thanks y'all. :)
You definitely need their gateway for the signal but you can definitely plug this into their gateway without a problem.
First you will have to connect directly to it with eathernet cable and under administration go to LAN and you will have to change the default IP Address because they will both use 192.168.1.1.and you will have a conflict and you would only be able to log into one and not both. So change the IP on the Nighthawk to 192.168.2.1 and click apply or save.
So Verizon should be default 192.168.1.1 and Nighthawk 192.168.2.1 and you should be good to go.
Make sure you plug eathernet cable from Verizon gateway to yellow port in back of Nighthawk.
