The album is fantastic, but with this specific deal you're actually just getting the CD. You have to send in for the Vinyl, but according to other reviewers that expired. So I returned mine right away. So really its just a CD. If you want the vinyl, look elsewhere.
I'm not a metal head (though I do like it as I like music in general), but this album is simply a fantastic album period. Plenty of truly classic songs, with the title track being my favorite.
The album itself in terms of songs is obviously perfect, as its a Beatles album. The mono vinyl version sounds fantastic, definitely a worthy purchase for any music collection. Sounds smooth and you can't beat the big artwork that comes along with a record. Plus, the mono remaster is analogue rather than digital which makes the vinyl worth it.
"Rock a Little" is a solid album from Stevie Nicks, which contains a bunch of well known songs. Not quite as good as "Bella Donna," but worth a buy. The vinyl itself sounds great, and is a nice price, so definitely worth adding to your collection.
"Kings and Queens" is one of Aerosmith's very best songs. As a whole the album is very solid even if it isn't absolutely perfect. Definitely love it though!
I didn't know too much about Twisted Sister beforehand aside from their well known songs. However, this is definitely an interesting look at the rock scene in the 1970s/early 1980s, and how many music clubs there were. They also were influenced by David Bowie which I liked to see.
"Heathen" was an underrated album upon release, and should stand with his best work. It's creative, and varied enough to represent some of the best of his changing career. Even after a few decades in the music business, he was able to release such a creative album.
This film is a spot on documentary about the life of a comic. Joan manages to make the whole thing funny and enjoyable, going through her process well and showing why she was so great at her craft. The extras are good enough to round out the DVD.
