Good monopod for the money

Seems to be a pretty solid monopod for the money. Not sturdy enough for use as a walking stick but that's not what it's meant for. Height at full extension works well for me. The cross-section of the leg sections is actually oval, not round, which keeps the sections from rotating. My only complaint is that the little rubber cap which fits over the tripod screw post never really stays in place, but this is not a big deal.

Store edited photos, videos, and games on this 3.5-inch Western Digital hard drive. It has dynamic cache for optimizing allocation between reads and writes, and there's plenty of space to store files with its 3TB capacity.

Cool, quiet storage

Working great so far. Runs cool, very quiet, and lots of storage for the money. When you format this drive (in Windows 7 64-bit) you need to select GPT partitioning in order to access the full 3 TB as a single partition, otherwise you'll need to format it as two smaller partitions. With Window's standard MBR formatting, you can't access more than 2 TB per partition. Do a web search for more info!
This drive is meant for storage, not as a boot drive. I would not recommend it for your primary drive but as a secondary storage drive it seems to work great!

Extras worth it for the hardcore fan

It's a shame the film studio milks the fans by releasing the regular version first and then the extended version later. Of course, then they get fans who buy both (like me)! If you are not a hardcore Tolkien fan you will not get much extra out of this version. However if you are that fan then you will want this version just to see how Peter Jackson tries to expand on the Hobbit storyline to mesh it further with the Lord of the Rings trilogy.

If you had any concern over the goofiness of the original trailers and did not see this movie in the theaters, get this now! Nothing but fun. Steelbook was a nice bonus on sale; but I probably wouldn't pay the regular price for it since the regular blu-ray will still have 97% of the goodness at a lower cost.

Entertaining but the first 3/4 of the movie is actually more fun than the last 1/4 when all the big monster battles happen. The first portion reminded me of the director's previous movie, Monsters (worth viewing). Godzilla is actually on-screen only a small amount of time.
Video and sound quality is fine. Ultraviolet digital copy is a plus; I used to hate Ultraviolet but the service has improved greatly.

Is this a WD "Blue" drive
No, this is a WD 'Green' drive. It is intended for storage. If you are looking for a primary or boot drive, this is not the best choice. It is designed to 'spin down' after a short period of non-use to conserve power. For a boot drive, look to the WD Black or Blue drives.
