I don't see a difference in rechargeable batteries I have Duracell, Energizer, and now Rayovac. I probably don't pay attention to just how exactly long they last compared to each other, but I have kids, I'm constantly swapping batteries out in things, I throw them on the charger and stick them in a bin until their turn comes back around. These are the cheapest ones, so these are the ones I'm going to get.

I'm giving it four stars because of how I use it. As a sound bar to a tv, it's terrible. I would never buy it. My new LG tv (that I got for free with a cell phone purchase, thank you Best Buy [I love Best Buy]) has better sound than this thing. However, I use it as a Bluetooth speaker, because you can power it on with your phone, I never have to use it's remote, or push any buttons on it.
And again, the sound is bad, only treble, no bass whatsoever. Here's where I got smart though, I put it behind the fabric high backed bench I have against the wall (kitchen table bench). Treble has a hard time going through objects, so it resonates a little back there and gives me enough bass, and cuts enough treble out that I am extremely satisfied with it. Especially for the Deal of the Day price of like 50 bucks or something. Better sound than any speaker I have seen in that low price range (when set up like I have, otherwise no).

I freaking love Nonpoint. I have to start with that because I don't want people to get the wrong picture. I freaking love them, but this cd sucks. So sad. I feel they know they have a following so they are just putting music out there knowing people will buy it. He does the same thing with his voice every song, just holds a note at the same tone and thinks that's good enough. Classic Nonpoint is singing and yelling in ways nobody else does. I'm afraid that's long gone. Miracle was the last good one.
