The unit we bought worked well as long as we use filtered water to prevent build up. I like that there are 3 cup size settings. When doing brew-over-ice, I use the smallest cup because it will melt the ice fairly quickly which will water down your drink.
My only complain is that it doesn't get a hot as the other Keurig model we had before. So if we use liquid creamers which we keep in the fridge, the coffee is just warm.

Used this with our Time Warner Cable subscription. It works well with fast speeds. It gives good signal even when we're a few rooms away. I haven't had to reset it yet since buying it many months ago. It hasn't stopped working. Once in a while I'll reset my iPhone connectivity, but that could just be the iPhone connection "freezing". Overall, great product. Saves me money than leasing a modem from Time Warner.

Only Works For PC

Perhaps I did not read, but I bought this for a Sony Vaio laptop and was trying to transfer files from the laptop to my MacBook and vice versa. A MacBook can only read files, but not do anything else. After this, I did some research and that's how it is because of a different format. I would have to reformat the drive to be able to use it for the MacBook but that would delete the files already in it.
Guess that's what happens when you don't research first before you buy. Other than that, the drive works great with fast read/write speeds. I l also like the design and portability.

Now we're able to call our loved ones overseas by dialing a local US number for a small fraction of the cost of direct dialing. The only weird thing is, we keep getting voicemails meant for someone's parents from a school. It looks like someone owned the number before.

I have 2 computers, wireless printer, 2 iphones, ipad, ipod, Kindle and a smart TV on two floors

If you position this modem properly, you should not have connectivity issues, especially if you subscribe to higher internet speeds.

is there a power button to shut off when computer is shut down
I would leave it on if I were you, especially if you use this several times a week via your computer, or everyday via your Cable TV subscription.

Can I use this product with a mac and a PC?
As long as your devices have Wifi access, sure. I used it for both a MacBook Pro (2013) and a Sony Vaio that runs Windows 7, a couple of iPhones, an iPad mini and a cable box. As long as you're subscribed to higher speeds (I am subscribed to 300MPS), then you should be able to use all these devices at the same time without sacrificing internet speeds. (depending on what you're doing of course)

I have Time Warner for internet, phones and several TVS with two DVR boxes.

I found this modem to be powerful enough to handle multiple devices. We currently have connected here, besides the actual Time Warner Cable Box, the following:
1. 2 iPhone 6's
2. 1 iPad Mini
3. 1 Sony Vaio Laptop running Windows 7
4. 1 MacBook Pro running iOS Yosemite
And they all are working fine. We also subscribe to the 300 MPS connection from Time Warner because of a promotion, so speeds are very good.

I don't think it matters what your OS (Operating System) is, whether Vista, XP, 7 etc... A modem is a modem in order to connect devices to the internet.
I use ours as a replacement for a rental unit from our cable company. I don't want to pay monthly for an equipment that I can just buy.
I use it to connect 2 laptops (one running Windows 7 and the other a MacBook running iOS Yosemite, plus 2 iPhones, 1 iPad, and the actual cable box which is connected to the TV).
So I don't see an issue with Vista. What you need to ask yourself is this:
1.) Does your computer have a wireless adapter to connect via wifi.
2.) Does your computer have an Ethernet Cable Port, if you'll connect via wired connection.

i have an xfininty cable tv modem for wifi ,home phone ,cable would like to replace as i pay a rental on this unit
It should work, because the only connectivity differences should be between a CABLE MODEM and a DSL MODEM.
So this could do the same job as your current rental unit. That's what I did since the beginning to avoid paying monthly fees from Time Warner.
Performance-wise, this should even be better to handle higher speeds versus the one from the cable company.
And if you're still iffy, I would simply take a photo of the back of the current modem you have and compare it to the back of this.
