Nice collection if purchased cheap

This was sometimes given away with the 9000 series Samsung TVs, which is great, but it was badly overpriced if purchased standalone. When I bought my TV it wasn't given away for free and I didn't want to pay full price. But eventually the price came down as supply greatly exceeded demand and I grabbed one before they were discontinued when it was one of Best Buy's Deals of the Day. I probably would not have purchased if it wasn't so cheap on that one day. It hit a price point that I just couldn't say no to. I don't recommend unless you can get a great deal on it, too.
That said, the 4K movies on the drive look excellent (the Star Trek movies in particular) and make me want to buy more 4K content. I do wish there was some 3D content on the drive though, to fully show off the 9000 series' capabilities. There's also quite a bit of free space on the drive for additional movies to be added by connecting it to a PC, but I'm not sure what video and audio formats it supports (might be TV model specific) and the user manual sheet doesn't really explain which ones or how.

Is this drive only for laptops, or I can buy it for my desktop?
Solid state drives work for desktops, too, but you may have to get a mounting bracket or adapter as desktop hard drives are typically 3.5" wide and SSDs are 2.5" wide (like laptop hard drives). Newer desktop cases are providing 2.5" drive mounts specifically for SSDs.
Speaking from experience. I just replaced two classic spinning-platter hard drives with a pair of 850 EVOs (1TB models) in my desktop a week ago. It cost me about $10 for an IcyDock adapter to fit two SSDs where one of my old drives used to occupy.

No. There is no SD or MiniSD slot on this phone.

How does the insurance work for this phone?
I currently have Verizon Wireless and I purchased insurance for my phone. When I buy a new phone through Best Buy how does this work? Do I purchase the insurance through Best Buy or Verizon? Also, if anything happens to my new phone do I report it to Best Buy or Verizon?
If you have Verizon's Asurion insurance on your current phone, you automatically get enrolled for your new phone, but you should be able to tell them to not do so if you desire. The insurance is provided by Verizon, so you go to them for problems if you break it, not Best Buy.
Note that the Asurion price may be different - mine changed from something like $7 to $9.

how do you use the $100 gift card that comes with the galaxy s6 during checkout?
hello guys. i'm trying to figure out if i can use the free $100 gift card that comes with the galaxy s6 when you purchase it online. since its $199 for a two year agreement, how can i use the $100 gift card towards the phone during checkout, it doesn't give me an option.
Probably not possible with online purchase, but it can definately be done in store, as my local Best Buy did it for me. If this isn't an option, you could try calling Best Buy and purchasing it over the phone, in which case you might be able to redeem it right away.

Yes. My local Best Buy did this for me. They printed the $100 code sheet (its a printed sheet with a redemption barcode, not a gift card), then asked if I wanted to use it right away, which I did.
This may not be an option if purchasing online though.

May change "Language" for the included movies?
A question to current owners of this UHD Video Pack: If you connect it to the UHD TV, may you select / change other languages for the included movies as in the Bluray and DVD discs?
Yes, but it may depend on the movie or documentary which languages are available, and some may be English only.
I checked Star Trek (2009) and it offered English, German, and Russian audio options, plus over a dozen languages for subtitles.

Might depend on the movie/documentary. I fired up Star Trek (2009) and it has options for English, German, and Russian audio, but subtitles available for over a dozen languages (including Spanish)

How do you get the UHD Pack to work?
I got my UN65HU9000 from Best Buy and it was supposed to come with the free video pack. I had to order it later (for free), but when it came in it wouldn't work. I've tried it in different USB ports, after powering off and on again, after updating the TV, and all the usual troubleshooting tricks, but no joy. Any ideas?
It will only work in the USB 3.0 port on one of the shorter sides of the evolution unit, not the USB 2.0 ports along the long sides where all the HDMI ports are. Once connected the TV should automatically recognize it as a new input source without need to turn off/on. You'll have to click the Source button on your remote to select it.
If this doesn't work, then you probably need to work with Samsung support.

Will the content of the video pack be reproduced in a UN55F9000 TV??
I think the way I wrote the question details might be unclear, I know they are different stuff I just mean I own both TV + Evolution KIt and I would like to know if I buy the video content I would be able to watch in such TV. Wiil I??

Does this work with an xbox one?
It being a 1 tb hard drive, is it possible to reformat it and use it as a normal hard drive for an xbox one?
Can't confirm but seems like you should be able to do so as Xbox One has the required USB 3.0 port.
