I purchased the first Deluxe Edition of this album ten years ago. I purchased this only because it was $9.99 on sale. This is unheard of for a Universal Deluxe Edition release. I wished this release did not have the nine tracks redone by other artists. I felt more of Elton's live tracks should have been the extra cd as so many Deluxe Editions are.

Could have been more

I own the 2002 remaster of this album. I wanted the new release because it contains the mono AND the stereo mixes. I found the stereo mix to be the best. The mono had too much bass. I have always heard the stereo mix for most of my life. I expected the mono to be better but I was let down.
