This release collects every episode from the fourth season of the Netflix series House of Cards, a drama about a ruthless congressman and his equally ambitious wife who navigate the corridors of power in Washington, D.C.
As in my other reviews I have stated that this is a great series with an exceptional cast of characters. The storyline is great and it keeps you wanting to see more. On the other hand as in my other reviews of previous seasons... the packaging that Sony uses for the DVD's is cardboard and when you remove or put your DVD back it will scratch it. Not sure why they cannot understand this, but my guess is they don't care what it does as long as they can sell it...period. So beware if you buy this on DVD as they will more than likely scratch as you use the packaging. Not sure if this is a problem with the Blu-rays or not.
Based on the adaptation of a BBC miniseries of the same name, House of Cards is set in Washington, D.C., where ruthless democrat Frank Underwood ({$Kevin Spacey)) schemes to become President of the United States. This release compiles every episode from season three of the series.
The third year is just as good as the first. Great writing and more story lines. Spacy is at the top! I'm only giving three stars because Sony has not changed its packaging, and does not seem to care that the DVD's are getting scratched because of the cardboard sleeves they are in.
Based on the adaptation of a BBC miniseries of the same name, House of Cards is set in Washington, D.C., where democrat Frank Underwood (Kevin Spacey) serves as the House Majority Whip and represents South Carolina's 5th congressional district. When he is not appointed as Secretary of State as expected, Underwood vows to exact revenge upon those whom he feels betrayed him. Robin Wright, Kate Mara, and Corey Stoll also star. House of Cards earned nine nominations for original online only web television for the 65th Primetime Emmy Awards in 2013
The second season did not let me down. Still a great story line and excellent characters! I see that they did not learn from the first season on the DVD packaging. Still seeing scratches on the DVD's. Come on Sony wake up!

Wish the series was on something other than Netflix but worth the price for the DVD's. Spacy is as always great. He brings his character to another level. One problem that I have is how the DVD's are packaged. They are in cardboard sleeves and in doing so they get scratched very easily. Two of mine were scratched when I took them out of the sleeves. Very poor idea whoever it was that came up with it.
From the looks of it this could be another multi movie franchise from DC Comics, and this was a good movie to start it off with. The Joker was not in or the center spotlight of the movie. This was more about the Squad and how they formed. So if you are looking for an all Joker movie this is not it. I would assume that DC will make another movie with the Joker as the main character at some point. Over all this was a good movie from start to finish and would recommend to watch even if your not a "comic book movie" fan.

Granted I have only had it for about a month, but so far there have been no issues with it yet. I am waiting to load win10 into it, let them work out the bugs first. I'm not sure about the other reviewer stating it was overpriced, and not only on this one but on the AMD A8 version as well. I look at it like this. The AMD A10 processor is equivalent to the i7, and there is no way you will get the i7 for $399. My last laptop was a Dell, and I ran that thing thru the wringer, but after 5 !/2 years it but the dust. I have read good reviews on Asus and I am pleasantly surprised so far.
