It's important to be comfortable in a place where you spend a lot of your time. This Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Keyboard 4000 has even more comfort features to make your day-to-day tasks that much easier.
This is a good backup keyboard in a pinch. I prefer my Ergonomic "Sculpt" keyboard because of the size, ergonomics, touch and so forth and this one just isn't quite as "sweet". However, for someone who does normal day to day computer ops or programming, this keyboard will suffice. In a heavy typing environment (transcription of documents, for example), where you type for hours upon hours, rapidly, this keyboard may be tiring. But, less so than a normal "straight" keyboard.

What's great about it: Ergonomics.
What's not so great: Keystroke depth and touch - not as good as the "Sculpt"
This wireless keyboard and mouse are designed to encourage good hand and wrist posture. The Advanced Encryption Standard keyboard has a split dome shape to fit the curve of your hands, and the mouse's raised design allows you to keep your wrist in a more comfortable, natural position.
My size and breadth, plus my typing skill level - requires a good keyboard to take advantage of all that good "ergonomic" stuff. I've used a lot of keyboards and most have too deep a keystroke - or too shallow - incompatible key spacing - and they're just not made to stand up to a lot of typing - like you'd do in a transcription kind of work setting. This keyboard takes care of all that. For me, anyway. It's the right size, shape, keystroke, footprint and so I think I've chosen well.
