I'm not a great fan of female cyborgs, so I would not have given this film a look except for the 3D, which according to reviews was rather good. The reviews were basically correct: good 3D, story quite dark and yet unemotional--perhaps exactly what one would expect from a female cyborg. I recommend this only to 3D lovers, and only at a much-discounted price.
Excellent 2008 reboot of the Incredible Hulk story

Bill Bixby's Incredible Hulk is, of course, the classic. In 2003, Universal Studios tried a reboot with father-son conflict, set in the desert. It was OK. This 2008 reboot is more impressive (due to better CGI and a more urban setting) and more faithful to the classic story.
I have only watched the first segment of this miniseries so far, but I can already tell that it is well worth my time and money (at least at the $10 discount price I paid). It presents both sides of each issue fairly--the side we want to hear, and the side that perhaps we don't. Excellent! In later segments, I will be very interested to watch the conflict between Adams and Jefferson over interpretation of the Constitution (within 11 years of its writing!). I will also want to see whether this miniseries presents, explicitly or implicitly, John Adams' stated attitude toward our form of government: "Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other."
This includes 5 CDs, each with 20 tunes. The majority are vocal, but some are instrumental--which was quite common in those days of the Big Bands. The set includes songs from our British ally, again just as was popular during that shared war.
This set actually covers a full spectrum of songs popular during that period, not just war songs--from Bing Crosby's "Swinging on a Star" (from the movie "Going My Way") to Noel Coward's comedic "Mad Dogs and Englishmen."

Amazing for the price, almost of mid-range quality

I gave this 5 stars because it is an amazing value for the price ($30 on Black Friday, otherwise $50). Low-end phones have 8GB (or even less) of internal storage, whereas this phone has 16GB. Low-end phones typically have 960x540 pixels or less, whereas this phone has 1280x720. Low-end phones typically have Android 5.1 or older, whereas this phone has Android 6.0. True, its processor is not as fast as the better mid-range phones; but you will not find a faster processor in a phone costing $50 or less, especially a brand-new one (as opposed to some long-used phone on eBay).

Bright White is rated at 24lb, brightness 96--quality high enough for even the most discriminating receiver. I am not satisfied with ordinary copy paper or multi-use paper; and more importantly, such low-quality papers are not good enough for the people who receive it (e.g., clients, job interviewers). Low-quality papers are also more likely to cause my printer to jam.
Of course, I try to buy Bright White on sale at a discount. :)
This disk includes the film in 3D as well as 2D. (The film was originally released in both formats, back in the 1950s.) The 3D added considerably to my enjoyment. The commentary was both informative and insightful.
Use this ExxonMobil gift card to purchase up to $50 worth of gas, food and more for your next commute or road trip. The gift card is redeemable at nearly 10,000 Exxon and Mobil stations around the U.S.
I bought this with a Best Buy gift card I received, for cash flow reasons. It worked perfectly. The fine print does warn that if the balance drops below $1, gas dispensing machines may not take it. I presume that in such a case, an attendant can still accept it manually.
The movie reminds me of Shrek. (Shrek was made later, I think, so Princess Bride is actually the innovator.) Princess Bride is essentially a spoof of save-the-princess movies. Now if the movie had songs too, the spoof of such old movies would be complete.
This movie has become a kind of "icon" to those who grew up with it.
