Quality fridge for the price

Purchased this fridge several weeks ago after looking at many different models and brands. Looks great. Makes some strange noises during the day.
The water from the door has had a strange plastic-like aftertaste. I'm hoping this goes away over time....been four weeks though since purchased though.
The ice comes blasting through the dispenser which means you need to use a large cup to capture the ice cubes or else plan on picking them up from the floor. More than likely, you cannot get only 2-3 ice cubes even with a quick press of the lever. In a matter of seconds, your cup is 90% full of ice.
Overall, I'm pleased that we upgraded our 1998 side-by-side for this model. No fridge is perfect, but this stainless steel model is magnetic, shows no fingerprints, and certainly keeps the milk cold. I would definitely recommend this fridge to others, but just accept that it's not perfect in all aspects. After all of the research I did, I can say I'm glad I purchased it.
