Nikon D7100 DSLR Camera Body: Open up to a world of finer detail with the Nikon D7100, designed without an optical low-pass filter for impeccably-detailed image and video capture. The 1.3x crop mode gives you extra reach from your lens without sacrificing the high resolution quality, and the 51-point autofocus system locks onto your subject for incredibly fast response times. Whether you're a semi-professional or a skilled photographer upgrading to a more advanced DSLR, the lightweight and compact D7100 will keep your creativity on the edge.Memory card sold separately.

I moved up from a D3000 that served me well for 2 years. The D7100 is miles ahead of my old camera in terms of pretty much everything.
High ISO performance is pretty darn. Most people recommend staying under 6400. Under the right conditions, and with a bit of PP, I've gotten usable results at 12,800 ISO.
The D7100 feels solid and it's heavy. Something to keep in mind. After 6 hours of shooting an event, my hands hurt for a couple of days.
Changing the shutter speed and aperture during shooting(manual shooter) is simplicity. Changing the ISO, however, is not quite as easy. I have to take the camera away from my eyes to find the ISO button.
There is a slight green tint present in shadows at high ISO.
Overall, it's a great camera...loving it!

Cover every shot with this all-in-one Nikon 18-140mm camera lens that lets you zoom from wide-angle to telephoto without missing a beat. Extra-low Dispersion (ED) glass creates amazing contrast, and the zoom enables crisp images as close as 1.48 feet away. This Nikon 18-140mm camera lens features a Silent Wave Motor (SWM) for super quiet clicks.

I got this as a kit lens with a new D7100. Overall it's a good lens, though slow. But when one can't afford a 2.8 zoom, one makes due.
The lens appears to be sturdy and has no lens creep.
My only issue, and it's on me, is that it's difficult to hand hold at full zoom.

will this work with the nikon d600

Will this lens work with the nikon d600
It will work, but you'll either have to use DX mode on the D600 or have dark corners in most of the range.

can i use a sigma lens with this camera?

is it a full frame camera? i have sigma lens and i would like to keep using it. thnaks
The D7100 is a DX model, not full frame. If your Sigma lens worked on a full-frame Nikon, then it should work on the D7100 as well.
