Fun Toy with Lots of Potential

This is one of those toys that makes you wonder "What can I do with this?". But after a few minutes this might become your favorite. The Sprk robot is controlled by a smart device like a phone or tablet. You can race it around, do stunts and other tricks like you would with any other RC toy. Where the Sprk shines is that you can program it to run around on it's own. That takes game play to a whole new level. Writing code to get the Sprk to do different things is really fun. If you set up an obstacle course, you program the Sprk to navigate it on it's own. Not only do you learn the basics of programming, but you have a blast doing it. Having multiple Sprks just adds to the fun as everyone is trying to get theirs to perform the best.
This is truly one of the best gifts for kids of all ages.

This is a great game for any Star Wars fan. The single person play is fun and being able to upgrade your character is a nice touch. My only complaint is that the expansion packs are only for online play only. So if you are not really into the online play scene or you can't play online, then you are missing out on a very big part of this game.

This printer came as a bonus deal with my HP laptop. I was really impressed with the small size and ease of setup. This fit perfectly in the dorm room. We needed to get a laptop that could support general college work and graphic animation. This model fit the bill perfectly. With a 4th generation i7, 16 GB of RAM, and a 1TB hard drive, the machine has more than enough power for animation work. Plus the 2GB discrete video card supports the most demanding graphic applications. We were surprised to get such high specifications for under $1000. The unit came with Windows 8.1, but upgraded as soon as the initial user setup was complete. the laptop is fairly heavy with a 17 inch touch display, but not to bad to carry around for short periods. The battery life seems to last about 4.5 to 5 hours of general use but I suspect it might be less when you start really using more intensive applications.
All in all, we are very happy with this purchase.
