Handy & inexpensive expansion option

I needed to add some expansion storage to some Amazon Fire tablets. I needed more than one so I looked for an inexpensive one that also would perform well. This SanDisk microSD fit the bill perfectly.
I was able to effortlessly add storage to my tablets and have had zero issues with the tiny tablets on board storage getting too full. I simply store what I want on the SD card instead.
SanDisk microSDs are well made and to date none of them have had any issues with regular use. In all I would say you can consider these for your next microSD purchase if you only need a little storage for your mobile device and do not want to spend a lot of money to get it.

I got this as a gift for someone who was going to be doing a fair amount of driving in a new city. They do not use a smartphone and wanted something they could easily use no matter if they were driving or if they were riding with someone else. We looked at several of the choices in the local Best Buy store and compared that to what our online research said were good and just average models. Fortunately the local store had the model we wanted (we got the last one!) so we picked it up.
Setup was over before we knew it and it has been a reliable travel companion for a while now. If you are looking for a GPS device you can rely on without needing a smart phone to use then look at this unit. You will not regret it.

With the shift to all digital TV in my area my cable provider requires the use of a new mini box on all TVs. They would give me the box but their puny HDMI cable was not going to work for my wall mounted TV so I started looking at my options.

A robust and easy to use cable modem

After 6 years my previous cable model started to give out and my Internet access was suffering. After spending time on the phone with my ISPs technical support they noticed that my old modem was not giving me the speed that I had been paying for; it had too few channels to give me the speed I had been paying for. Until then the ISP had always told us that there was nothing wrong and we were getting the actual speeds we signed up for. The tech support person said I needed to get a new cable modem that supported the extra channels that my higher speed required.
So I did some research on Best Buy for a reliable cable modem that would meet the channel requirement the tech told me and found this one. Lucky for me it was in stock at my local store and was on sale. I ran right over and was back home installing it within an hour. I then spent another 30 minutes on the phone getting it "activated" by my ISPs tech support folks. Once they did that I started to see a 5x increase in my SpeedTest results.
So far it has been reliable and trouble free. For that I give it a definite thubs up.

The best Warcraft Expansion!

Having been a World of Warcraft player since the very beginning (and owning all Collecters Editions except the first one, stupid me) I can honestly say that this is THE best expansion for WoW Blizzard has ever released. I only reactivated my account because my kids wanted to try it and Im glad they made me change my mind. After the last 2 expansions I was skeptical there would be anything that would make me want to play in WoW any more.
They have made changes to the play mechanics which take a little getting used to if you like the previous ones. However the changes are for the better once you experience them.
There are a hugh number of intricate story lines that just keep going and going across multiple zones. Finally I have a desire to actually read the quests before accepting them. Unlike the previous expansions there seems to be a depth to the amount of content that makes me want to enjoy the trip rather than simply "get to the end" and be level capped.
The ability to choose where I start in the new Broken Isles and how I progress is a refreshing change to the previous expansions that had a mostly fixed zone progression. Thats nice since I can take control and visit zones that suit my characters needs and my interests at the time. Plus Blizzard managed to put in an impressive feel to each of the zones that made me want to stop and look around. I can't say when the last time that happened in WoW but its been a VERY long time.
The only down side to this one is that some quest chains require you to visit instances to complete. If you are a casual gamer (or are in a Guild that never does anything together) and hate waiting in the 30+ minute Looking For Group queues then you will not like that change. The wait times seem to be getting longer as fewer players are doing the regular instances and the players who want to level their professions have already done their forced runs. Still this is a relatively small ding against what is definitely a worthwhile expansion pack.
I have yet to savor the extra Collectors Editions goodies much. They all are extremely well done and worth the extra cost over the regular version. The caliber of the material is on par with the previous CE versions of WoW Expansions.
I VERY rarely score anything the maximum (or minimum) score simply because I rate on a bell curve. It takes real effort to score top or bottom marks in my book. In this case I think Blizzard has definitely gone above and beyond to make Legion a top notch expansion that all WoW players will enjoy.

Ok protection but design needs improving

This is my second such Belkin tablet holder. The first one suffered a loss of the 2 magnets that are taped into the plastic frame to help keep the cover closed when not in use. The cover works nicely but the tiny, thin strips of tape holding the strong magnets in loose their ability to hold the magnets in place over time. The amount of contact with the plastic frame is simply not good enough to hold the magnets in as the adhesives weaken. As a result after a year or so of regular use both magnets were no longer in the fame. I only discovered this issue when I found one one stuck to the cover and got curious where it came from.
The new one has the same poor design unfortunately. Belkin should double the width of the tape used if they are going to keep using it so that it will last longer than a year of regular use. The magnet can stay the same size but they could easily route out a wider recessed 'lip' for the tape if they are going to continue using it.
I tried to fix my old cover and found that there was not enough space in the magnet hole to adequately apply some hot glue to hold it in. I was going to try using superglue next but my tube was dried up and I keep forgetting to get a new one when I go to the store. Even if I do, I only have 1 magnet so the cover will not stay closed like it used to. I will have a spare though if this cover fails the same way.
I may decide to test adding a nice strip of electrical tape of my own to supplement the puny tape that Belkin used. If I do then I will likely make it cover the entire width and length of the edge where the magnets are with the appropriate holes for connectors.
For the original $70+ cost I do NOT recommend it. However for the discounted price I find now I would recommend it since chances are if you need one later you they will no longer be available.

A solid choice for your GoPro or other devices

I got 2 of these for use in the GoPros that I got for myself and my family. We planned to use them on trips and over the summer at different events so we wanted a fast memory card that could hold a lot of content without needing to be replaced quickly.
This card had the best speed requirements for our needs when compared to similar micro SD cards. There are similar models out there that are cheaper in prices so make sure you pay attention to the transfer speeds (esp. write speeds) when picking a memory card. Spend a little extra for the faster cards so you do not wind up with some tears or dropout in your videos. (No YouTube fame ever came to those whose video cut out at the good ponits.)

A worthy replacement for my 12+ year old QC2

I have had Bose noise cancelling headphones for over a decade. My QC2's finally died so I wanted to replace it with an equally good product. I checked out many other brands as well as looked at the current Bose product line. After a lot of research and trying on a lot of different headphones I settled on the Bose QuietComfort 25. I used them on some very long flights to either just relax or as alternatives to the cheap airline headphones. The QC 25 definitely carried on the Bose tradition of a lightweight and comfortable headphone that reduces the background noise to what I had been used to with the QC2 that it replaced.
In addition to use on airplanes I use it at home to filter out the TV sounds from across the room when I have to work. Since the cable is removable (thank you Bose!!) I can wear it without dragging along the fixed cable most other noise cancelling headphones have. If you travel, do you really want to have that cable dangling behind you in the bathroom or snagging on seats as you walk the asile?? I certainly dont!
I also wanted a model that had a replaceable battery so that I would not run the risk of a built in battery dying on me mid flight. I carry my own rechargable batteris and can swap them out if need be. Some folks say that they never have problems with the battery running out of charge when they travel. Thats great for them. I for one do not want to have to worry about making sure I keep track of my headphone charge before every trip or return flight. A removable battery is a simple way to always have one less thing to worry about.
The sound when listening to music (both with and without a battery in the unit) is what I expect from Bose. I am no overly senstiive audiophile, I just like listening to my music collection or video clips on the computer without being disturbed or disturbing others.
The only thing I do not like about the QC25 is the folding design of one of the ear cups. I for one liked my "fold flat" QC2's. The case was not too big to put in a backpack and I did not have to worry about possibly breaking them simply putting them into the carry case. With the QC25 one of the ear cups pivots as it folds so it can pack into a slightly narrower case. Its only about 2 finger widths narrower than the QC2 and about the same thickness so Im not sure why Bose went with that design. I for one am not a fan of this and if it breaks too easily I will definitely let them know it was a bad choice. However there are many other headphones that fold the same way so maybe it will be ok. Time will tell.
It is so good that I had to get a 2nd unit for my wife so she did not steal mine when we travel together. She also likes it over the 3 alternatives she tried before attempting to seal my QC25 before our last trip.
Yes, the Bose units are more than some alternatives out there. However the quality of the product for the price is worth it.

A very good choice for a college dorm

I was looking for a fridge that could easily accomodate my child and their roommate at college. There are lots of choices that are smaller but we weanted one that could easily hold some ice packs for those times when a headache / migraine happens. Virtually every smaller fridge has only a tiny place to make ice or hold ice packs but not both.
This unit has separate doors for the freezer area and the cold area. That means it is probably larger than you would think compared to smaller units that simply create a "freezer" area at the top of the normal storage area. We have found that separate freezer and cold sections is a good thing since it keeps frozen things like ice trays or ice packs at a uniform temp. The opposite side of this choice though is the unit is going to be taller than the typical mini-fridge.
If height is not at a premium then this could be a good choice for you if you do not want to sacrifice fridge space to a "freezer' area that can only hold the tiniest of ice trays (and which tend to have ice build up making the usable space in them even smaller.) The only factor to consider is the weight. It is heavier than most smaller mini fridges but not to the point 2 people cannot handle it easily.
Noise has not been a factor for the past 2 weeks of constant use. I was glad to hear that since we did not want to replace it with a smaller one just so they could sleep at night.
All in all we are very satisified with the unit. So why didnt I give it 5 stars you may wonder. Simple, I rate on a bell curve so my 4 is equivalent to most peoples 5. I find that folks these days are too quick to rate something 5 stars or 1 star without much consideration. That makes it very difficult to spot the truely exceptional items from the very good ones (or the truly bad ones from just the ones that are sub-par).

A definite "must have" title for PS4 owners

This is one of those must have games for any PS4 owner. It is not a typical combat / fighter game although there are components of that in it. There is lots to explore and you can choose to play for good or bad karma. This adds to the replay value as you can change it up or try for the most in either direction.
The graphics are crisp on an HD TV and there is no stutter or jitter. They set a nice baseline for all future titles to match or beat.
For the most part you have tons to explore and things to uncover as you roam a set of very open zones. The ability to move around and go lots of places is a definite bonus compared to some other titles that talk about open worlds but are really quite limited in scope.

Can this memory card be used on my Nikon Digital Camera-COOLPIX 4800?
In the past, I've used only memory card up to 16GB but I want upgrade to use for my storage when I go on vacation. I'm an elderly person not to suave with advanced technology. Please advice.
Officially they only listed up to 1Gb cards on their web site (as of 2103) so the fact you use 16Gb cards means they are clearly just not updating the list.
Give Nikon a call at 800-645-6687 and see what they can tell you.
Of course Best Buy has a great return policy so you can probably try it out and if does not work then bring it back (or get a newer Coolpix that you can use it with.) ;^)

will it work in my nicon d3000 if so how many pics will i get
I think the maximum SD size that Nikon lists for the D3000 is 32Gb but that was back when 32Gb was the max available. The D3000 may still let you use this card (using a micro SD adapter) but maybe not.
I suggest you call Nikon at 800-645-6687 and ask them directly what the maximum size it can support.

am trying to decide between the in ear 20i or the QF25 . Any opinions
I prefer the QC25 because I grew up with headphones instead of earbuds as the norm. They are also lightweight enough that they are not a concern when I wear them for extended periods of time. (My longest was probably a 10+ hour flight so far.) My kids have the 20i's and they like them a lot. Of course they grew up with ear buds and do not prefer headphones for the most part. (They cannot listen to loud music with the ear buds as easily as they can with the headphones.)
I also like that I can pull out the music cable and still have noise cancelling headphones as I walk in an airplane. With the earbuds you cannot do that so you have to either remove them from your ears, disconnect from your power source (and get no noise cancelling) or take your power source with you. The latter can be done unless you are using say the airplane AV system.
You should consider your typical use cases and try out both before you decide.

Why it does not have Bluetooth and wireless, a such thing like this so beautiful , is a big mistake?
Bose does not make a wireless noise cancelling headphones. You can get either wireless (Bluetooth) or noise cancelling but not both. As for why not I can only assume it has to do with getting all those features into a lightweight form factor that does not just eat batteries like little kids eating candy on Halloween.

Automatic defrost means there is a button or knob that activates a heating mechanism in the unit that will melt away the build up. You need to empty the freezer to use this kind of mechansim and you need to manually drain out the water from the process. You should only need to do this every 12-24 months typically, depending on your climates humidity, your use and other factors. You typically do not find this on most units designed like this one (over/under).
Frost free activates its defrost mechanism daily. The mechanism will warm up just enough to remove any frost build up (and the fan helps dry up the melt). You do not need to remove the freezer contents at any time and it is not affected by the process. This is the most convenient of the two, especially in a small unit like this one.

Color
The color in the photo is stainless but the title says Black. Is is stainess?
The sides, top and trim around the doors on the front are black. The front doors look like stainless but are called "silver mist". They are not true stainless from what I found but they look and feel like it.
