A big investment sometimes needs a warranty

With some electronics the cost of replacing the item (or getting an upgrade by buying a new version of the product) is financially wiser than buying a protection plan. However, with the life expectancy of a clothes dryer, we believe the warranty was worth the price.

Installation not complete - not all parts provided

To be fair to the installers, this unit was an "open package" produce that I purchased from the Best Buy showroom floor. None of us knew that some of the parts were missing. The salesman assured me that the product had been tested before we purchased it, but he was unaware that the original package included water connections for a "steam" function on the dryer. The installers did not get those parts, so we had to solve the problem later with Best Buy - and the store did at no charge.

This dryer cord is required for successful hook-up of your new appliance. Our delivery personnel will determine whether a 3- or 4-prong cord is needed based on the outlet behind your existing dryer.

Delivery was competent, but not outstanding

The delivery men were on time. They were careful with protecting my home and the dryer. However, the dryer had a "steam" function on it that they did not install. I had to go back to the store to order the parts and install them myself. To Best Buy's credit, however, they did not charge me for to get those parts ordered.

Worked better than the SurfModem

For years we had been buying various modems from different companies. The major problem we had was the range of the wireless signal to connect to other devices, and the number of devices that we could connect without slowing down the bandwidth.
This Netgear model solved both of those issues. We finally got the internet speed that we had been paying for, and we can easily connect all devices from the 2nd floor down to the basement.

Replacement keyboard a good buy

My wife's old keyboard-mouse combination for her computer finally wore out. This was a good replacement - however, we would have preferred a back lit keyboard. We could have gotten a back lit keyboard with a stand-alone model (not including a mouse) but she elected to go with the model that would only require her to use one USB slot in her computer rather than two USB slots (one for the wireless keyboard, and one of the wireless mouse).

Lovely story for the grand kids
