This is perfect for the few office electronics that didn't fit in my large UPS and now I can charge my phone and iPads with it's USB ports. This case even says on the package made for the 6 plus and while most cases will fit the 6S plus, this one does not allow it to close due to the slightly larger phone that the "s" series is. It's larger width and depth, although millimeters larger does not allow the cover to close which is unfortunate. I really liked the case but could not get it to close. It closed without a phone, it closed with a 6 plus, but even tried another 6S plus just to be sure it wasn't me and my friend could not close it either. Would have been great since I have an Apple Watch, I do not need to see the screen as much as others. So disappointed.

I don't think the online description does this case justice. It says it's reversible but doesn't really explain or show how. The whole folio is magnetic and the hard shell case inside is as well. The hard case is also rubberized for a nice grip. It detaches from the folio so it can be used alone, a nice plus since I usually buy one folio case and another case for when I don't want the cover. Now, I can just grab it out of the folio with the case instead of taking it out entirely keeping it protected. It also allows you to fold the case back and not have the cover flap around like a smart case does, due to the magnets, which also let you put the iPad in any position you like. I've purchased a lot of cases and this is definitely one of my favs with it's very unique design.

I use Apple TV only to stream my iTunes library to an amplifier so I can enjoy the music. I have a huge library, so I wanted to move from using 2 iPod classics to this approach. It also allows me to use my iPad as a remote. The problem is that it just stops the playback for no apparent reason. I have checked the "sleep" settings and set them to higher values, but it doesn't matter. I have upgraded all of the software. If i am not on the iMac that has the library doing something, then the problem occurs. The remote thinks the music is still playing, but the TV is unresponsive. The only solution is to unplug the Apple TV (yes, unplug it) to force a hard restart. I can't get control of the ATV any other way. My next move is to determine whether a neighbor's WI-FI is interfering. So, it is great for about 15 minutes, then it is just a pain.

As suggested by another reviewer on another site, I moved my iTunes library to my router and then your computer does not have to be on to access the library. I have a time capsule so it has a built in hard drive, but you can also attach an external drive to most routers and put your itunes library there, solving the "always on" computer problem.

VERY dissappointed with my purchase for the amount I paid. My old laptop does better than the new one I bought to replace it! I bought it for college but it is no help to me because it want open up documents that I need for school !!

Don't blame the computer because you don't know how to use it. You need Microsoft Office or its viewer to open those documents. This is not the computer's fault. Typical user error!! Now you have rated the computer poorly for your own lack of knowledge skewing the reviews.

Pretty sure that's still a violation of your company's policy. Just because you skirted the issue by attaching wirelessly, doesn't mean you aren't in violation and now you would recommend others do the same. Good luck keeping that job when they find out.

I bought this laptop because it had everything on it I wanted and some. The reviews were great although there were not a lot (11) yet. I got home unpacked the laptop and got started setting it up. Almost immediately I started having problems with it. The touchscreen began activating rapidly and randomly without even being touched. I was pretty much unable to do anything until I figured out how to disable the touchscreen. Once I got that under control I started looking into updates, patches, fixes. I figured someone else must have had this problem already. Nope. Contacted Acer support and posted in their forums with the only real response I got to do a factory reset! It was fresh out of the box! how much more factory can we get!!!!! I'll be returning the laptop to Best Buy when they are open. I don't think I'll be replacing it with the same model as much as I would like to. The support is just not that good in the event there are problems.

Seems to be a problem affecting Windows 10

I had the same problem with this computer, which I bought as an open-box and figured that is why it was returned even though it was Geek Squad certified (way to go Geeks). I replaced it with a new one and had no such issues. I had previously purchased a Lenovo with the exact same "ghost" issues, which is noted quite extensively on the reviews here as well as on YouTube. I had my Lenovo replaced and did not encounter the same issues, however exchanged for this one with the better specs and am happy I stayed with it. I think you just got a bad one, but I have read where this more a Windows 10 driver issue than anything else, clearly not a Lenovo or Acer issue alone.

Great specs, great physical attributes. This a fast laptop with a rock solid video. Not crazy about Windows 10 but I'm starting to adapt. I don't use the touch screen much, I still like to use a mouse. The touchpad is interesting - I'm trying to get used to it but it's taking some time. Since I still prefer a mouse, I bought a good Bluetooth mouse and that's where the problems started.
Bluetooth randomly disappears. It's isn't the mouse. Bluetooth disappears from Setting > Devices - it just isn't there at all. It also disappears from Device Manager. I try rebooting, searching support forums, etc and I get nothing. Then Bluetooth will suddenly reappear - sometimes hours later, sometimes the next day.
I also have a couple Bluetooth speakers that I use to play music and watch streaming content.
So, I have a fast laptop that is only partially functional about 15% of the time. If I could do it again, I would definitely not buy this laptop . . . and being my first Acer product, I will not be a repeat customer.

Better check your drivers

I use this with a bluetooth mouse all the time and have never had an issue not connecting. I have actually used a few different ones, as I prefer bluetooth connections due to not taking up a usb port as with other externals, and it works perfectly each time. Perhaps it's a driver problem, try updating.

It was quick and easy to buy and redeem my gift card. BUT, I could not put more than one in my cart. I later tried to buy another one only to have my order cancelled. Apparently you can only buy one. Would like more options to either add more to cart or be able to buy different monetary amounts.

I had the same issue. Tried to buy more than one and all the rest were canceled. Best Buy couldn't even tell me why, they said something must be wrong with my account. I was like no, I bought one an hour ago no problem so that makes no sense and they told me it would take at least 4 days to find out what the problem was, sort of defeats the email delivery. Waited 24 hours, tried again, no problem. So clearly they only allow that but don't tell you as such.

I purchased this dock in hopes that it would work with the iPhone 7 Plus. It has several different adapters which allow you to have it docked without a case, with a case, different cables... Just not with the iPhone 7 Plus.

That is mostly complain about Best Buy selling open/returned items as new. Seal is broken, even has test sticker indicating that it passed testing after been returned. Picked up at local BestBuy, plugged it in, and it is not working. Buzzing beep with power button going RED. Going to return it with serious talk to manager of this store about this. BestBuy location: Oxford Valley Mall Langhorne, PA. Shame, shame shame.

Can you charge the device through the type-C port?
I haven't found anything on this and i haven't tried (i don't own a type-c cord). So will it charge through the type-C port??
No, you cannot. I have another 2in1 that does charge with the usb C so I have that cable and it does not charge it. I have usb C converter to use for flash drives that works fine.

The USB 2 connection.
Why would a mfg still put a USB 2 connector on a PC since all USB 3 connectors are reverse compatible? Is there that much of a cost difference between the two?
There are some programs that require you to plug your cable into a usb 2.0 port rather than a 3.0. I have run into this in the past when unlocking phones, it specifically says to use your 2.0 port. I would gather that other programs must also require it.

Does this really have a LAN port?
I went to the Best Buy store to check the model out and the incredibly inexperienced salesman was no help in answering this question. We could not find a LAN port on this laptop and I cannot see one in any of the pictures. Both Best Buy and Acer's own website show this model as having a Gigabit LAN port, but I don't see how this model achieves this. No dongle is mentioned in the list of package contents. Can you confirm this feature?

Yes, if your router has both it can connect to either.
