Best out of the box FPV drone

The Avata is DJI’s newest FPV drone and one of my personal favorites. DJI goggles 2 are a major upgrade. They are lightweight, high definition, and easy to use. Flying in the goggles is an experience unlike any other drone flying experience. It makes you feel connected with the nature you are flying in. I have found that I am more conformable swooping and diving through small spaces than I would be without the goggles. The HD low latency transmission means that you get a stable crystal clear image while you are flying. The new motion controller makes that experience even more life like and flying becomes very natural. The best upgrade on the motion controller is the addition of reverse. I had the previous motion controller and not being able to reverse was a big downside to me.
Although this is a smaller drone the camera is still high quality. It is capable of 4K 60FPS and has a 155 degree view to make sure you are able to capture beautiful landscape views. Programs such as RockSteady and HorizonSteady allow you to make your videos even better. Although FPV drones are not typically used for cinematic video, the video captures on the Avata looks amazing and I would have no issue using it for creative purposes. The agility of this drone allows you to get shots that you could not otherwise capture.
FPV drones are typically seen crashing and breaking. DJI has put in several measures to ensure anyone can fly this drone with ease. The first is its size. It is small enough to fit through just about any space. It has a built in propellor guard so that if you accidentally bump into something you should not have any issues. Other features that DJI has built in is an emergency brake that will stop the drone and hover in place. It also has downward sensor built in to ensure safety during low altitude flight.
I would recommend this drone to anyone looking to get into FPV flying that wants an out of box solution that it easy to fly. This drone is easy for a beginner but also has pro features that the most experience people can take it to the next level. DJI has continued to refine the motion controller and goggles to make them even better than before.

Great outdoor camera solution!

I have used many different outdoor cameras and there are a few things I look for/want in an outdoor camera. I think the Blink outdoor cam 4 does most of those things. First is to run off battery power. I prefer this because I do not want to have to run wires through my house just to have power. The only downside to batteries is that you must replace/recharge them. This camera is rated for 2 year battery life off of two AA batteries. Although my cameras get heavy use in the front of my house only time will tell how long the batteries will last. Even if I can get 6 months to a year out of them, I will be happy. The plus side to this camera is that you can change the batteries and be right back to recording. I prefer this over having to bring the camera down to charge and put it back up later.
The build quality of the camera looks and feels great. I do not feel it will have any trouble holding up to the elements where I live in the pacific northwest. The form factor is also great because it is so small it is easy to hide and be inconspicuous.
The camera quality and audio quality are decent both in the best lighting and in the dark. I believe one advantage of the Blink cameras is the AI technology that is built in. There are so many features and settings that can help tailor your notifications. Such as the ability to alert you when it detects a person. The integration with Alexa is convenient especially if you have other non-blink cameras that also work with Alexa.
The only downside in my opinion is that you should pay for the subscription to really make these cameras worth it. Blink does offer some local storage options, but it requires you to buy a separate sync module. The subscription is not very much money and adds a lot of features including 60 days’ worth of saved footage.
Overall, this camera is easy to install and easy to use. If you want the convenience of not having wires or network storage the blink outdoor 4 is probably the best option. The size allows you to use this camera just about anywhere including indoor or in a garage as well as outdoor as the name implies.

The future of technology

The HP Spectre Fold is a device like none other. I would like to start of this review by saying this device is definitely not for many people. Mainly due to its price. That being said I do believe there are some people who will want to adopt this technology early. I believe HP developed this device to show consumers what is possible, and I think in the very near future we will start to see more devices like this on the market.
HP calls this device a 3 in 1. The first is like a normal laptop with a 12 in screen, the second is if you pull the keyboard down a little it expands the screen a little, and the third is as a 17 in all in one. I also think there could technically be a fourth, which is as a tablet (although a very large one). My personal favorite is using it like a desktop with the screen propped up and the keyboard in front of it. The reason I like this the most is because of the big beautiful 17 in screen. It is like nothing I have ever seen before in a “laptop.” Although you can kind of see a crease in the middle of the screen when it is black, once you turn on the screen it is as if it did not even fold. My only gripe with the screen is that it is reflective and I would prefer a screen that is matte. This is not the first folding device on the market but it is the first to be this thin and light. The bezels around the screen are minimal and even when it is completely folded up it is not much thicker than an average laptop. The camera is located on the top when it is in laptop mode but when it is in my favorite full screen mode the camera is on the left side. It is not the end of the world, but it is in an awkward place if you are doing video calls. It does include facial recognition to unlock which is a bonus.
Most people might be worried about the hinge on a folding device. HP spent a lot of time on the hinge, folding mechanism, and screen. It feels very solid and I believe it will long outlast the device itself.
This PC only comes in one configuration and is not upgradable. Thankfully, the specs are not bad. It has a 10 core Intel i7 processor, 16gbs of ram, and a 1TB hard drive. Although it might not handle the most graphic intensive games it can easily play some games, and it can handle any work-related tasks that you throw at it. The battery will last all day under heavy use, and it can last multiple days with moderate use. The included USB-C charge has the capability to charge it from 0-50% in 45 minutes in case you do need to charge it. It comes with bang and Olufsen speakers and they sound impressive.
HP included all of the accessories that you will need which is a huge plus side in my opinion. Obviously, it comes with a keyboard. Although it is not the worst keyboard I have used, it is certainly not the best. My two gripes with the keyboard are that it is very flat when placed in front of the screen and it is not backlite. However, you can charge it when it is connected to the screen or through an included charger that can be plugged into the side of the screen. It also comes with a stylus/pen that can be used for drawing and other design applications. This can wirelessly charge and magnet to the side of the screen as well. The last thing that was included was a small dock. It has multiple USB-A, USB-C, and an HDMI port. It is nice that you do not have to purchase these accessories separately.
At such a hefty price you might be wondering who this device is for. Although this is not a simple answer, I could see businesses buying these devices. It is also for people who like to adopt new technology and have the latest and greatest. I believe HP made this device to prove to the world what is possible and what the future holds. I think this PC is ahead of its time. The large 17in IMAX screen is also great for watching movies and consuming other sources of media.

One of the best on the market!

I have always been a fan of Bose speakers and headphones. I believe they are leading the way when it comes to audio. The Bose QC over the ear head phones are no exception to this. This is my first pair of Bose over the ear headphones, but I have always wanted a pair because the ones I have tried in the past felt so great on my head.
Starting with the design of them. These headphones are lightweight and very comfortable to wear for long periods of time. They charge via USB-C which is convenient because it means you do not need to carry an extra proprietary charger. However, this is not to much of an issue since they have a rated battery life of 24 hours. The battery can last easily all week with moderate use on my commute to and from work. I love the case that is included with them. It is made of premium materials and has a mix of hard and soft materials to protect them inside of a bag. I also like the size of the case and how the headphones fold up so that they do not take up much space.
One of the features Bose is known for is their noise canceling. I think it is on par with other flagship headphones I have used in the past. I mainly use them when commuting on the train or when I am flying on an airplane. The noise canceling makes you feel you are away from the surrounding chaos. The audio quality is very crisp and clear. The companion app allows you to change both the noise canceling and the audio settings. It even includes a pass-through mode that allows you to hear stuff in your surroundings if you would like to be more aware of what is around you. These are not my preferred method for talking on the phone, but it works as long as you are not in a noisy area.
I believe these headphones are really targeted at people who want the best sound quality and noise canceling. If you are someone who travels and commutes a lot I would highly recommend them. They are even great if you work in a noise place and want to isolate the surrounding noise.

I have owned every GoPro since the Hero 3. The cameras have evolved and changed so much since then. Since the Hero 10 however, there have only been minor improvements. I believe this is because GoPro’s have become so refined and proven that there is not a need for big changes every year.
The Hero 12 creator edition is the perfect camera for vlogging. It has everything you need built into a small, lightweight, and versatile package. One of my favorite features is the stabilization. It used to be that in order to get super stable video it required a bulk gimble. Even with a gimble it took a technique and knowledge for the video to turn out well. The in camera stabilization that GoPro uses is point and shoot and looks great. Since GoPros are waterproof, the camera audio can sometime be less than ideal. However, using the creator housing it comes with a built in shotgun microphone that allows for excellent audio. If you prefer, you can plug in any external microphone. One of the coolest features GoPro added to the camera this year is the ability to connect wireless earbuds, including Airpods. This allows you to use them as an external recording device or remote voice control your camera. I believe this is a big game changer.
The next big thing that was upgraded this year is battery life. I have never had an issue with battery life because I prefer to record in shorter clips. If I run out of battery I just replace the battery with another. However, for some it might not be this simple. For example, if the camera is mounted externally to a vehicle and you cannot change the battery. Regardless, the extended battery times are welcomed. The creator edition includes the battery grip which I highly recommend if you are holding the GoPro or using it for vlogging. If battery life is important, then you can always shoot at a lower frame rate to conserve battery.
The GoPro Hero 12 packs so much tech into a small and quite affordable package. I do not think there is another camera on the market that can offer everything it does in a small and versatile package. If you have a GoPro Hero 10 or 12 the new features may or may not be worth the upgrade. The reason I get a new one every year is because it never hurts to have more than one camera anyway. If you do not own a GoPro and are looking for a Vlog camera or simply a camera to capture your adventures, then look no more. Both the pictures and videos that this camera can produce will make people think you are using a much more expensive camera.

My son has been obsessed with Alexa since he first learned how to speak sentences. Now that he is almost 5 he has learned how to interact much more with Alexa. The Echo Show 5 kids is even better because we are teaching him how to tell time. The cool part of about the Alexa is he can see the time, but he can also ask Alexa what time it is. This has helped a lot with him knowing what time he needs to get out of bed.
A 1-year membership to Amazon Kids+ is included and this allows him to interact even more with it. Some of his favorite things to do on it are listen to jokes, riddles, and music. A bonus for parents is that we can ensure that he is not listening to anything explicit. I remember prior to getting this Alexa he asked one of our other ones to play a song and it chose to play an explicit version of another random song.

This Alexa is tailored for children and there are so many different things they are able to do with it. Along with anything a normal Alexa can do. I love being able to put restrictions on what my son is able to do since it is in his room. There is also a mute button and camera cover to ensure privacy when needed.

Great blender to replace multiple appliances

My house's kitchen is not large, but we have a lot of appliances on the counter. Two of them being a blender and a Ninja personal serve blender. The ninja detect duo replaces both appliances into one. The blender works great and it even has a feature that will tell you to add more liquid to whatever you are making if necessary.
As far as the design goes, it has a stainless steel design, making it look premium and blend in with my other modern appliances. The buttons are large, and not over complicated. The single serve cup is big enough for two personal servings. It also has a strap that allows you to wrap up the cord when you are not using it and keeps it out of the way. As far as cleaning goes, it is easy to take apart and all parts are dishwasher safe except for the blade. The blade must be washed by hand. This is a fairly large blender, and it barely fits under my cabinets.
If you are someone who likes to make different things in a blender, then this one will do it all. There are other attachments available for purchase, such as a food processor attachment.

My job and lifestyle require me to constantly be on the go. Whether it be on planes, trains, or a variety of other places. I am always in need of a mouse. Prior to this I was using the original pebble mouse. Honestly, it was great and I did not really have any complaints. It is hard to believe that Logitech could improve on such an already great mouse, but I can confirm they did.
The pebble 2 mouse has features that make it a great all-around mouse. First is being the size. Its sleek and compact design means that you can carry it with you anywhere. It is easy to throw in any backpack, purse, or even a laptop sleeve. Therefore, it has become my favorite mouse for travel and commuting. One of my favorite new features is that it can connect with up to three devices. There is a switch on the back that easily allows you to switch from one device to another. Logitech estimates the battery life of 2 years on a single AA battery because of its auto sleep power saving function. This makes it convenient and you are not constantly having to charge it. Since it is an AA battery, you can easily replace it and keep going. The last new feature is has a silent clicking feature that removes almost the entire clicking noise. Personally, this is not a big deal to me, but it is nice if you are using it in meeting so you do not disrupt others. The previous pebble was able to connect via Bluetooth or USB. However, the pebble 2 did not come with a USB but it has a spot inside it for one. I am not sure if this is by mistake, but I mainly connect via Bluetooth, anyway.
If you are someone who is constantly on the go and needs a sleek and compact mouse, then this is the one for you. I believe this is a great mouse for college students and people who work on a laptop.

Must have for PS5 players!

When the PS5 was released a few years ago it did not allow you to use any aftermarket pro controllers on PS5 games. Up until this day it remains the same, and it wasn’t until this year that Sony released its first pro controller. I held off on Sony’s controller because it only comes in one color and has other drawbacks. FINALLY, someone else has released a PS5 compatible pro controller and I believe it is awesome.
One of my favorite things about this controller is that it can be used both on PS5 and PC. When I am at home I play primarily on PS5 and when I am away I play on PC. The frustrating part is that I have to use two different controllers instead of just one on both systems. My next favorite thing about this controller is that it can be both wireless or wired.
Setting it up for the first time on PS5 was a little confusing. Once you get it connected for the first time, it connects automatically like any other controller after that. This controller has more buttons than I even know what to do with but it makes a big difference when playing first person shooters. It allows you to map the controller any way you want it. Mapping the controller is not very complicated. Download an app on your phone and then you can connect the controller and map the buttons. When it comes to customizability, this controller is endless. I love the RGB lighting and the ability to customize or even turn it off.
If you are like me and have been waiting for a Pro controller that is compatible with PS5 this is the one to get. I also think it is a great option for PC players who want to use a controller. My only gripe with it is that it does not come with a case to keep the cables and extra thumb pads. Either way this is a great controller and well worth it.

Fast Scooter with long range!

I remember as a kid when I got my first electric scooter. It was not fancy, it didn’t go very fast, and it took forever to charge. Today’s electric scooters are much different than those of the past. They still take quite a long time to charge but they have many more features and they are not slow by any means.
The GoTrax G6 is a beast of a scooter. It has some features that I have personally never seen on a scooter before which confirm its commuter roots. For example, it has a built-in cable lock that is long enough to wrap around a bike rack or pole. This is super convenient because you always have a lock especially for quick stops and you do not have to find a place to attach the lock since it is already attached. Another feature is all the lighting. It includes a headlight, tail/brake light, and even under glow.
This scooter has two other features that I could not easily figure out. I read through the owners manual but it is not very clear. The first is the passcode. Upon start-up it asks for a 3-digit passcode. However, I cannot figure out how to change the passcode. The other feature is cruise control. It says holding down the throttle for so many seconds will activate cruise control, but it does not seem to work and I am not sure I would want it to work like that.
I would like to focus on a few good things about this scooter. That is the range and speed. It has a listed range of 48 miles. I have not taken it that far yet but I have no doubt that it would go that far. It has a top speed of 20 miles per hour and to be honest that is plenty fast on a standup scooter. I even tested it on some hills and it went up them with no problem.
I believe this scooter can be good for commuting but it is quite hefty. If you have a short commute you might want to look at other offerings. If you have a longer commute, want the most range, and the top speed than this is the scooter to buy. I think this scooter is perfect for someone on a college campus or someone who works in a big city.

What is Windows 10 in S mode?
S mode is a mode that only allows you to download programs from the Microsoft store. However, many commonly used programs can be downloaded. You can also switch out of S Mode into the regular windows 10 Home with no limitations.

It does not have an HDMI port however they do make adapter from HDMI to USB-C

This only has 1 hdmi input? So I can’t hook up my Apple TV n my PlayStation thru the sound bar? Or does it just pay to go with HTZ9F
As long as the Sound Bar is plugged into the ARC HDMI on your TV you can plug all your devices into your TV and they will still use the sound bar. I have PS4, XBOX, Apple TV, and Nintendo all plugged into TV and my sound bar plugged into the HDMI that say ARC and all devices play through sound bar. Hope this helps

Where can I go to try these headphones on. I don’t want to pay 350$ for something that doesn’t fit or for something that may not be worth my money.

Can the storage be upgraded on this laptop? If so, is it difficult to do?
The panel on the bottom requires a special tool and it uses a proprietary drive. Upgrading the storage would be extremely hard if possible at all.
