This high quality series provides great education on WW II Pacific battles. Many WW II movies do a good job of covering the European part of the war, but many fewer movies are available covering the Pacific front, especially at Blu-Ray quality.

I purchased a new Microsoft Surface Pro 4 and wanted to get the fastest performing microSD card I could for this great computer. Forget relying on Class 10 ratings as cards can run from 40/20 (read/write) to greater than 90/90, and if you are copying large files, it makes a huge difference. After a lot of research this product was the best performing microSD card for the price and when I compared a few on the Surface Pro, it really shows the performance difference across Class 10 microSD cards. Do not use Class ratings for real life performance differences.

Finally, a tablet that can replace a laptop

I have tried several tablets and keyboard combinations over the last few years, including iPad, and all have had issues with slow performance, keyboards that don't fully integrate with applications, but most of all, not having full desktop applications. The Surface Pro 4 fulfills all these requirements and has fully replaced my other laptop at half the weight with a full tablet for entertainment. The only issue I have had is it acts up, like my laptop does, and I chased this to when Microsoft is pushing updates over a wireless connection. I just changed the setting to not do automatic updates and all issues disappear. I just manually check for updates every few days. Microsoft needs to add a setting the limits updates to 10% of the available bandwidth.

I really like like the design, size, and feel of this laptop. I wasn't worried about the other reviews complaining about it being slow as I enjoy stripping out bloatware, disabling unused services, and replacing the disk drive with a SSD and in other cases this has been very successful. However, the processor is just too slow to be of much use.

No, just plug in a portable DVD device in the USB 3 port.

Why does my Surface Pro 4 lock up and just show a black screen after the logo goes away?
I have found this problem, and several more, e.g. slow, related to Microsoft updates starting to download or install while trying to use any Windows 10 wireless device. I changed Settings -> Updates -> to "Notify to schedule restart" and checked "defer updates" and all problems disappear. The screen going black is usually tied to updates that that have to be being installed during startup. Just be sure to check for updates every few days.

Absolutely. It fulfills all the requirements of a desktop when the keyboard is added.

I want to replace my 2 rented Comcast devises will the TiVo roamio plus dvr work on 2 tv's in different rooms?
Also does it take a Comcast smart/descramble card that I have to pay Comcast for in order for the TiVo to be activated and work?

I just bought a Tivo Roamio with 2 Tivo Minis and I now no longer have any Comcast equipment, except a cable card in the DVR. This setup gives us far more features and saves money. Tivo Minis will pay for themselves in about a year in saving over Comcast Set-top box fees. The Tivo itself will take about three years over Comcast DVR fees.
