As a homeowner, I try to do everything I can to keep my property safe and worry-free, and that includes keeping alert for water leakage. Smart devices like the Phyn Smart Water Sensor help to put my mind at ease. With multiple notification options, personalized settings, and a simple "set it and forget it" setup, Phyn makes it easy for you to monitor the areas of your home susceptible to water and to keep your house safe.
The sensors are packaged with batteries and a set of simple to follow instructions. Right out of the box, you'll notice the devices are small so they are able to fit pretty much anywhere. Since they will be on the floor of your home, it is nice that the sensors have some heft to them so they won't easily get jostled or tipped over if accidentally kicked or moved.
To get monitoring, just download the free Phyn app and after a quick account setup, you're ready to connect the devices. After installing the batteries, you'll notice three options for the battery usage, ranging from high level notifications and monitoring, which will use up more battery power, down to very low power use, minimal notifications, which advertises up to two years of battery life. Each setting will still be set up to alert you how you see fit. After setting up a profile for each sensor, place them near or right below areas of interest, such as your basement, under sinks, your laundry and washer area, or anywhere you see fit.
The sensors do a very good job sensing water in the area, from actual water drops on or around the device, to actual area humidity. Not only will you receive text alerts (if you choose) and/or app notifications, you can even go into the app pro-actively to check the area humidity or to set up high and low range settings for your notifications. The devices also give off an audible noise when the environment goes outside your customized parameters. Switching between devices is a click away as well, and the app will also let you monitor multiple homes with multiple sensors, all from one profile. I was really happy with how simple the UI looks, but I was especially encouraged by the frequency of notifications and alerts during several days of testing.
Above all, the Phyn Smart Water Sensors gives me the peace of mind to know I can act at a moment's notice if my home is in danger of flooding and water-related damage. With an easy setup and fully customizable app and notification settings, Phyn does the job of monitoring your home for water dangers so you don't have to.

LG's foray into stick vac territory is a success with the CordZero wet/dry stick vacuum. Feature-rich and simple to use, this device takes on both carpeted and hard floors with ease, and without the use of any buckets or chemical treatments. CordZero is a great do-it-all option to get your home clean quickly.
The CordZero comes completely disassembled, and while the instructions aren't the greatest read, everything pieces together in a simple, logical manner. The cord vac has a beautiful burgundy/wine color that's not an eyesore, so that's a plus. The charging stand holds all the accessories (even the included extra mopheads!), and it is small and portable which allows for numerous storage options. I especially love the double battery: one battery is in the vacuum and charges in the stand, while the other charges up in the stand itself and is ready to go. Each battery gives you up to 60 minutes continuous runtime, which gives you plenty of time to get your entire house done.
LG's vacuum is lightweight with an adjustable stick tube. The stick vac stores small but when in use, you may extend the tube to a much longer, full length. There are two power settings, Normal and Turbo, and I found the normal setting to be perfectly capable for hardwood floor vacuuming. Turbo seemed to be needed more for carpeted rooms, but I have some furry pets with rooms that need an unusual amount of vacuuming. One of the nice features is the "Kompressor" technology, which allows you to push the collected dirt down inside the collection tank, allowing you to continue cleaning instead of constantly heading to a garbage can to empty the tank. This compressing action did allow some dirt to get trapped in the upper area of the tank, which required some extra work to remove, but overall it is a nice feature.
The vacuum has good range of motion for twisting to hard to reach areas. I did find some "sticking" issues while turning corners with the vacuum on carpeting, having to labor a bit to get the vacuum to properly change directions. I'm hopeful that over time this becomes a non-issue. The mop function is a nice add-on, especially since it just uses water. Simply fill the removable water tank and go, no fuss. Removal and cleaning of the mopheads is also a simple task.
Lastly, the CordZero has smart-home capabilities, connecting to your home Wi-Fi and allowing you to track your cleaning history or run system diagnostics from the free LG app. I didn't find this function to be necessary, but it is definitely a nice bonus if you're on the fence about this feature-rich product.
LG's CordZero is a solid vacuum option for all household environments. From carpeted to wood-flooring and tile, this stick vac can adapt to your cleaning needs. Despite some small issues, the CordZero's feature-rich catalog makes it a worthwhile addition to your home.

The chair is a behemoth, with the box coming in at almost 90 lbs. in weight. It arrived nicely packaged with a large, neon poster with easy to follow assembly instructions and all tools included. It took less than 20 minutes to put together.
The chair is very sturdy, with synthetic leather over high density foam cushion that is firm with a little give that appears to shape to your body's extended stay. The black color with green accents evokes a professional gaming look without being too over the top. Also, it is surprisingly easy to wipe down, as I have already spilled a drink on the thing!
Armrests can be fashioned in various directions and heights to conform to all body types. The chair level rises and falls with ease using the side lever, and the lean back is well-balanced with no worry about tipping over. The extra lumbar support lever allows you to position the back support to perfectly compliment your body shape. Lastly, there is an optional foam headrest you can attach for even more comfort.
Overall, the Razer Iskur gaming chair provides stability and comfort for hardcore gamers and long-hour office sitting. It is a durable and reliable chair that gets my full recommendation.

The Skullcandy Dime gives you a compact set of earbuds that brings both simplicity and solid sound in a tiny package. It overcomes some minor flaws to create a high-end listening experience at an affordable value.
The earbuds come packed with a snap case, three different sized bands, and a small micro-USB charging cable. I really like the thin size of the case, which feels almost like a car key fob, and the latch cord is a nice touch. The Dime advertises 12 hours of battery life, however 8.5 of that power is from the case, leaving your buds with around 3.5 hours of runtime. This should be fine for normal, everyday usage except for those expecting extended, continuous playback. While inside the case, the earbud touch panels are exposed, which is a strange choice, especially since the interior is exposed when the earbuds are in use. Overall, the case is light, compact, and carries over eight hours of additional power for your on-the-go needs.
The buds are very small and with the sizing bands, sit comfortably in my ears. The Dime is sweat and water resistant, so they are a great option for a workout. It pairs very quickly and seamlessly. The sound is solid, and though there is no noise-cancellation option, it comes through rich and clear. The instructions provide all of the (many) configurations, sequences, and pressing combinations for navigating your music and podcasts through the earbud buttons.
For the most part, the buttons are sensible and responsive, however the main pressure point on the earbuds does not sit squarely on top of your earhole. Rather, it sits centered on the earbud but a little bit below the ear canal, closer to the lobe. It takes a little getting used to pushing the buttons in this area, especially since pressure to the bud in this spot does not feel as natural as pressing above the ear canal. This is not a deal-breaker; overall, I love the feel of the earbud and did not experience any issues with the earbuds falling out of the ear or losing connection to my mobile device.
The Dime packs a punch with decent battery life, a compact case, rich sound, and intuitive, responsive buttons. It is an affordable alternative to high-end earbuds and great for any person on a short commute, working out, and overall on-the-go. While I wouldn't give The Dime a "10", it is easily worth a solid recommendation.

Installing the outlet is simple. The step-by-step instructions provide safety guidelines, warnings, and diagrams that are easy to follow. I appreciate the level of detail given to us non-professional electricians, since it can't be understated how much of a turnoff it is to have insufficient installation instructions.
The outlet fit perfectly in place and worked as expected. The off-white color is typical of most outlet covers, but no cover is included so be wary of that aesthetic. The USB-C ports allow for just a few wires in the plug area, with no charging bricks needed that may clutter up the charging area. This is a great alternative to bulky wall outlets or surge protectors that need to be mounted or hidden. Many of my devices use USB-C, but if you typically use a different connection a simple, inexpensive adapter for your cable will suffice, though it would have been a nice add-on if included. Otherwise, this outlet charges at a higher power for devices that are Power Delivery capable - most of my tablets, mobile devices, and laptops filled up in no time.
Easy to install, quick to charge, and manages wire clutter a little better than your typical wall outlet adapter - the Leviton Duplex USB Charger does the job well. Highly recommended.

Plug in the unit and you're ready to go. The touch controls are hidden behind a panel on the top of the machine, and they are simple and responsive, with a bright blue display for fan speed, power, Wi-Fi connection, and filter. The unit has wheels and rolls easily to the monitored area, though I did have some issues with the removable side panels slipping off easily during transport. The purifier is a massive machine that may be a little intimidating at first, but with its size comes the ability to handle rooms up to 775 square feet. My open concept kitchen, dining room, and living room were all able to utilize the Blueair Classic. Its HEPASilent technology is proven to keep the air quality clean in all areas by electrically charging the airborne particles, capturing them in the filter, and discharging clean air periodically. The lowest fan speed setting was used the most, as it is nearly inaudible and proved to be very effective. The medium speed makes a little noise but is still serviceably quiet. The highest setting is loud as expected, but we don't expect to use it at this level much.
Using the Blueair mobile app, I'm able to see firsthand the purity levels in my house and any pollutants it senses along with periodic changes in the air quality. You can change the fan speed or power the system down from the app as well. You can even set up Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant for voice activation. Lastly, you will be notified when the filter needs to be replaced, and the app allows for easy orders through the Blueair Store. While some of the app's features seemed a little bit lacking - the Settings simply toggles between Fahrenheit and Celsius - overall, it does a good job of allowing easy access to the air quality information.
The Blueair Classic 605 is a big machine that gives huge relief for those looking to keep the air pure in fairly large areas of your home. With simple touch controls, an easy-to-use app, and the latest in HEPASilent technology, this hassle-free air purifier is sure to keep your home healthy for years to come.

Dell's XPS 13 is a beauty right out of the box. The unit comes packaged nicely with a power cable, a USB-C to USB-A adapter, and a quick startup guide. It is very thin and surprisingly weighted despite its small size. Startup was very quick as expected, and after the usual setup prompts, personalization, and system updates that accompany new computers, you're off to the races.
The keyboard is nice and tight, with very thin key depth and needing soft pressure to trigger the keystrokes. It is backlit and has a fingerprint-enabled power button for added security. The black handrest surrounding the touchpad is rubberized and provides a nice, matte-like grip on an otherwise sleek device. The touchpad was almost too responsive, catching small grazes while testing that caused some typing errors. (I was able to resolve this in Settings.) The 1920x1200 touch screen is clear, bright, and responsive. The speakers are located throughout the thin edges of the unit, and while the sound quality was serviceable, it could have been a bit louder and richer for my taste. There are only two ports to access, both Thunderbolt 4 (USB-C) ports, one of which doubles as a very fast power charger. The included USB-C to USB-A adapter may come in handy if needed. Lastly, the XPS comes with 256GB of storage capacity and 8GB of RAM to ensure it is able to handle your larger games, photos, video, and applications.
As a 2-in-1, the big benefit to this computer is its versatile nature that adapts to your ever-changing needs. The screen hinge spins the monitor all the way back and transforms the laptop into a tablet-style device. As a tablet, the keyboard buttons no longer respond, so you won't accidentally trigger keys you are holding or pressing in this mode. The device can also sit in an upside-down "V" shape for media viewing or listening. In any configuration, the screen remains very responsive.
The XPS 13 2-in-1 is an amazing machine, blending your professional and personal needs in a fun, flexible, and portable device. It satisfies in all configurations and comes highly recommended.

The Philips Norelco Shaver 7100 provides a good, close shave with minimal effort. Easy to use, you can be confident the 7100 will perform cleanly and consistently. The lack of accessories and its connectivity to a smart app with limited use does not diminish the shaver's excellent performance.
Right out of the box, I notice the shaver doesn't come with anything - no case, no charging stand, no replacement heads. It's just the shaver, blade cover, and charging cable. It was a little bit of a letdown. After charging up the shaver, I used it and forgot all about what it did not come with and appreciated what it did - and did well.
The shave is nice and smooth. The device has a low hum and isn't violently vibrating, so the emphasis is on the shave. It uses ComfortGlide rings that make it feel like the rotating blades are as close to your face as possible but also at a safe distance. Only a little bit of pressure is needed and the shaver does its job. It operates wet and dry, with both shaves providing great results with no irritation to my skin. It operates great in the shower. There is even a small trimmer that extends from the back of the shaver for a quick, clean cut as desired.
Battery life lasts about an hour per charge, and charging doesn't take very long. The shaver connects to a smart app for data collecting, product information, and head replacement reminders. The shaver also uses SenseIQ technology, which monitors your shave and provides feedback on a small screen on the shaver. Admittedly, I wasn't a big fan of this feature.
Maybe best of all, cleaning is a cinch. The shaver has one-touch open, which allows for the blades to pop open for easy cleaning. Simply run the shaver under running water with the blade head open, as removal of hairs is quick and easy.
The Philips Norelco Shaver 7100 makes your morning shave a breeze. Despite its lack of accessories and an app that feels tacked on, the shaver itself is impressive and provides reliable, consistent results. I would comfortably recommend this product.

Out of the box, the projector is truly a portable device. Compared to others, the Mini EF11 is a fraction of the size and weight with a minimal box design and button layout. There is only one HDMI input and one USB type A slot, with no Bluetooth capabilities. There is an input for external audio, and the remote control has very basic functions. All that is to say it has a no-frills approach to getting you up and running.
Connect your preferred streaming device, find a clean wall or projector screen to direct your video, and press power. That's it. The Mini EF11 has an auto-adjustment function that sizes and focuses the projection to wherever you are shooting, and the manual dial is available to fine tune the visuals as needed. The projector can shoot from a wide array of angles and directions, especially useful if you need to side mount the device or hang it upside down from a ceiling mount. The picture is clear and bright and can be projected up 150" diagonally at a maximum of 11 feet away, though it was noticeably blurry at the maximum distance. When weighed against the portability and ease of use, it is a small concession to an otherwise wonderful viewing experience.
The built-in audio is surprisingly good, though depending on your room's acoustics, you may find yourself connecting the Mini EF11 to an external audio source for a richer sound. I found that connecting a small, reliable Bluetooth speaker through the audio jack provided the sound quality I wanted without compromising the portability aspect.
Overall, the Epson Mini EF11 functions well in its bright, clear visuals and its efficient use of space. It can reliably provide a quick theatrical experience in almost any environment with very minimal setup, but it doesn't pretend to be able to replace your home theater either. Its simplicity and portability make it a highly recommended addition to any household.

You can charge it on the cradle without taking off the casing. The case is designed to have enough open space near its bottom where the gamepad will rest on the cradle.
