A solid starter hoverboard for young beginners

Children grow up so fast: from crawling, to walking and running, and next thing you know, they're on wheels. As a parent, keeping the little ones active and safe is a constant balancing act. Coincidentally, Hover-1's newest self-balancing scooter is a hoverboard that promotes keeping kids happy, engaged, and most importantly, safe.
Unlike some of their other offerings, the Hover-1 Blast isn't very flashy. When turned on, aside from a couple of blue strips of light at the front of the hoverboard and the thin, rainbow patterns on the wheels, this device is an all-black color with no standout features. The center of the board has a battery power light and a symbol indicating whether a person is standing on it. Made specifically for children and individuals under 160 lbs., the top of the board has two, small foot mats to step on and find one's center of gravity. The manual says it generally takes 3-5 minutes to get comfortable on a hoverboard and recommends spotting your child to make them feel more secure.
The Blast does not travel very fast. It moves at a steady pace, which is great for children just beginning to learn how to use a self-balancing scooter. My kids are familiar with hoverboards, so this board did feel a little bit underwhelming to them, but it really is the perfect size for kids around their age and size, in the second to fourth grade range.
I appreciate the care and safety put into the Hover-1 Blast. The operation manual for the board does a wonderful job with a thorough safety checklist, recognition of local ordinances for use of the device, and details with regard to both passenger safety and machine maintenance and operation. It really does go to great length explaining all precautions and warnings for using the board in order to give you some peace of mind.
The Blast comes with a power supply cable which takes about five hours to fully charge. The board can take you up to three miles, but I found that my kids didn't want to really leave the house with this board due to its lack of speed. However, that did not stop them from really enjoying their rides around the house. Overall, it is a great little beginner's board for the little ones and a nice secondary to a more fully-featured self-balancing scooter. The Hover-1 Blast is the perfect option for a parent who wants to introduce their children to hoverboards, and it is a great stepping stone they will use to learn the ins and outs of these devices safely.

The Wandvac Power Pet comes with the wand vacuum, two tool attachments, and a handy charging stand. The actual wand itself is surprisingly long, especially with the extension tools attached, but it is not too heavy for extended use. It kind of reminds me of an airport security wand. The grip is comfortable with the buttons at the top of the device for thumb access. At times, I found myself accidentally touching them and inadvertently turning off the device, but it is generally well-positioned. On the underside of the wand is the waste release button, which is easy enough to open and drop the gathered debris into your trash. I especially like that the dust cup can be removed easily to remove and clean the filter, which can be rinsed with water and air-dried for a day.
I used the duster tool extensively, as I like the extra reach it provides and the feature which allows the bristles to be tucked back and in place while the brush isn't in use. The pet tool also comes in handy sweeping through floors and carpet for hair, though the bristles could be a little stronger.
Runtime on the Wandvac Power Pet is around 30 minutes continuously. The vac is set to Deep Clean mode by default, and for extra power, just press the Boost button. It can be conveniently stored almost anywhere while it charges due to the fairly small footprint of the stand, with a full charge from a completely dead battery taking a little under four hours.
Overall, this is a handy little vac that is easy to use, maintain, and store away. As a cord-free device, it can be used almost anywhere your pets can make a mess for a quick and simple cleaning solution.

Razer brings us the DeathStalker V2 Pro wireless gaming keyboard, complete with lag-free Hyper Speed 2.4GHz wireless connection and optional Bluetooth that can toggle among three more devices. Other than a few bumps in the road, the DeathStalker V2 Pro is a keeper.
The keyboard is full sized, complete with number pad and directional arrow keys. Despite its large size, it is fairly light with a low profile of keys that look beautiful with the Chroma RGB-lit keys shine brightly against the black backdrop. The keyboard runs continuously for up to 40 hours and can be used with its included charging cable for even longer. The keys have a nice, soft press to them, a nice alternative to the clicking spring of most laptops.
When connected to your PC or laptop via the wireless 2.4GHz dongle, the keyboard is amazingly precise and responsive. This is the recommended setting for the best experience. Where it is a bit lacking is through the Bluetooth option. While it is nice to connect three other devices to the keyboard - this can be beneficial to areas used for work or web-browsing in addition to gaming - the switching between different devices via Bluetooth is a bit cumbersome. The keyboard takes a few moments to connect every time you switch, and it sometimes loses connection altogether when a device isn't in use for extended periods of time. Thankfully, the Razer HyperSpeed 2.4GHz connection is about as reliable as any wireless keyboard I've tested, and it is in this area that the DeathStalker V2 Pro shines. Lastly, the programmable roller on the top right of the keyboard is an awesome feature. It is large and has a solid click to it as your scroll up and down to adjust volume or playback on videos and music.
Razer's newest wireless keyboard is a solid addition to any gaming space. While the Bluetooth functions are a little spotty, the ability to connect multiple devices is a plus. Play games confidently using the wireless dongle connection for an excellent, precise keyboard experience that lasts a long time. The fact that it will look beautiful in the center of your desk is just icing on the cake.

Similar to past models, the Mx Master 3S is an ergonomic beauty. It looks sharp and feels smooth with a nice weighted, large base. Once you've paired to your device via Bluetooth, the cursor flies around your screen with ease and precision. It even tracks well on clear glass surfaces. The top wheel is smooth with pinpoint scrolling, while the thumb wheel is programmable and a nice added touch. Clicking is quick and accurate. Switching between different devices is a cinch using the small pin-sized button on the underside of the mouse. This feature is a must for multitaskers, and the Mx Master 3S does not disappoint. For an affordable laptop that really packs a punch, look no further than the Acer Nitro 5. Whether it's for work or for play, the Nitro 5 stands out as your go-to machine to keep you productive and entertained.
Aside from the red corners, the black shell isn't much to look at, but the overall build is nice and sturdy. It has a glossy finish, so unfortunately I already see lots of fingerprints gathering throughout the top lid. On the underside, four rubber grips give the machine a slight lift, to the benefit of the unit's dual fans. It's not the most portable of laptops, so be prepared to set up shop somewhere whenever you use it. Battery life is average, as gaming for long periods of time with optimal settings will really bleed it dry very quickly. The keys have a soft, rubber feel to them, and some of the button positions need some familiarization, but overall it's a great layout that utilizes its space very well.
Performance is top notch. With 16GB of RAM out of the box, the Nitro 5 can handle almost anything you throw at it. The processor itself isn't the most powerful, but multitasking between gaming, streaming, and working is seamless. Most games should run very smoothly with the GeForce RTX 3050 Ti, and on this full HD screen, they look bright and beautiful as well. One thing I think worth noting is the utilization of NitroSense on this machine, allowing you to monitor and adjust your CPU temperatures, fan speeds, and power, as well as letting you customize your keyboard lighting effects among other things. The Nitro 5 runs games well and reliably; it's really that simple.
Overall, the Acer Nitro 5 stands out for its reliability, power, and great performance. Highly recommended for serious and casual gamers alike.

While it is far from perfect, it is an affordable, hassle-free option for anyone looking to set up a quality entertainment experience on the go.
Yaber packs the Pro U9 projector with everything you need - the device, cables and connectors, remote, and projector screen all fits neatly into the provided travel backpack. It even comes with a cleaning kit with detailed instructions for routine maintenance of your device. The projector is big but not bulky or heavy, with a removable cover protecting the lens. It has two USB, two HDMI, and one AV port to connect your media, and it also supports wireless casting through iOS and Miracast. Bluetooth is also supported and works nicely for audio. It does not have an adjustable leg on its base, however, so be prepared to compromise with your viewing angles a bit depending on how your setup looks like.
The remote requires two AAA batteries (not included) and uses IR, so it became a bit cumbersome having to point directly at the projector whenever it was in use. This wasn't an issue when the projector was close by, but it may present problems if it were to be mounted on a ceiling or other high level.
Where the Yaber Pro U9 shines, pun intended, is with its picture quality. The high brightness and multiple picture correction options allow for relaxed, effortless viewing of the screen in 1080p resolution. The projector looks great in dark rooms but also in dim light as well. There is some slight blurring effects but the picture is easily correctable using the device controls.
The Yaber Pro U9 is a solid projector for the consumer looking for a hassle-free, quality product. It is easy to get up and running with everything you need to set up your entertainment center virtually anywhere, and it all packs up nicely in its portable case. Overall, the Pro U9 overcomes some minor flaws to provide a great viewing experience.

Finding an affordable gaming laptop can be a tall task, as the high-end models may be out of reach for casual gamers looking to save money. Dell offers a great solution with its G15 series. While it doesn't have the spectacle and fireworks of its more expensive contemporaries, the G15 provides a solid alternative for gamers on a budget.
Out of the box, the G15 5525 is a thing of beauty. The body showcases several points of articulation, from its speckled light gray color and its textured outer shell, to its bright red back-lit keyboard and the cross-hatch speaker pattern inside. It is weighty but not too heavy - probably on the top end of portability but still functional. The screen brightness is acceptable with decent viewing angles, good contrast ratio, and it folds out to around 120 degrees.
Performance on the G15 5525 series will vary depending on what you're doing and the games you want to run. The G15 5525 comes with Windows 11 Home, and setup takes only minutes. Browsing the web is fast and the Windows dashboard is smooth. Battery life is pretty decent as well. While it is capable of handling most games, the system comes with only 8GB of memory out of the box which is just low by today's standards. However, fiddling around with the power plan and graphics settings for a few minutes will do you a lot of good and save you some headaches as this laptop has plenty of juice to get your game on. Aside from a lot of the bloat-ware preloaded into this machine, it is a great device.
Overall, the G15 5525 is an affordable alternative to some of the high-end laptops out there. It is a great option for students or on-the-go workers who want some casual gaming access on a decent machine. While not the most powerful device, it's a beauty of a laptop that's not just eye candy.

You want your Bluetooth speaker to be truly portable, durable, and hassle-free. Sony's SRS-XE300 speaker is a great solution with tons of great features offered to keep your party going, wherever you want to go.
The SRS-XE300 is a mammoth device, measuring out at just under 10" tall and pretty hefty in weight. It has a unique, five-sided shape that is promoted to provide extra power and a more balanced clarity of sound. Most of the speaker is covered in a grippable rubber coating with a line shape diffuser that allows audio to be distributed evenly around a room and conserves sound quality. I did find myself accidentally pressing the buttons on occasion when picking up the speaker and moving it around, as the buttons are all prominently lined up on one side. It is water, dust, and shock proof to an extent, able to withstand everyday bumps - you can feel safe bringing this baby to a beach or poolside. Connecting via Bluetooth is quick and easy, and the Sony Music Connect app allows for hassle-free control and access to your mobile device's music and audio apps all in one location. And the battery life is pretty solid, with 24 hours of playtime after a full charge and a quick 70-minute play usage with a 10-minute charge. A nice feature is its battery care protection, which extends battery life span by stopping charges short of 100%.
Sound and audio from this device is unsurprisingly crisp and full. It has a noticeable richness in bass tones and provides clear, distortion-free sound in all directions. I was a little underwhelmed by the actual max volume, however, as I had expected bigger sound from such a big device. With the SRS-XE300, you are trading loudness for clarity, which seems fair.
Despite just a few shortcomings, the SRS-XE300 portable speaker is an impressive option. Its weighted, large size will withstand everyday usage, and it has the juice to last all day. It is easy to setup and pair, and its sound is rich and clear from all angles. Sony has another great speaker for you to get your hands on.

The Viper V2 Pro has a minimal, sleek aesthetic. It is small mouse with no frills for sure. The device comes packaged with a wireless USB dongle and adapter, a nice USB-A to USB-C Speedflex cable, Razer mouse grip tape, and an information guide. The mouse can be used wired, but the USB dongle allows for a really nice wireless experience. Simply press and hold the power button a few seconds and you're good to go. And battery life is exceptional on the Viper V2, with a single charge providing up to 70 hours of wire-free usage.
The standout feature of the Viper V2 Pro is its weight. Coming in at 58g, the mouse moves and glides at ease on any surface or mouse pad. The mouse surface is slightly matte and smooth to the touch, but if you're like me and prefer a more solid, grippable texture, the Viper V2 Pro comes packaged with grip tape for a quick makeover of the sides and top buttons. It really feels responsive, which can be attributed to the Razer Focus Pro 30k optical sensor. The cursor flies across the screen with the smallest hand movement, but all within control. The scroll wheel has only the click-through option, no auto-scroll or smooth scrolling, so some zooming in and out during gameplay was a bit restrictive. The buttons each have a mechanical click to each press, which depending on your preference can be comforting or tiresome to listen to after a while.
The Viper V2 Pro gaming mouse has some nice features that can really enhance a gamer's experience. Its lightweight, minimal design can alleviate stress to your hand during long gaming sessions, and its responsive, precise optical sensor works spot on in both wired and wireless modes. Overall, it is a great little device and worth checking out.

The Govee Aura smart table lamp is a fun little device! It gives you access to several preset lighting scenes that can help you set the room's mood or create a fun, unique environment to enjoy. There's something for everyone here, from fire, ocean, and sunrise scenes, to kaleidoscopic, graffiti-like, and even Rubik's Cube-influenced light movements. The Aura also lets you create your own scenes with an almost endless array of customizable lighting options, all at the touch of a few buttons on the top of the device or through the free downloadable smartphone app.
The app itself is easy to navigate, with big, clear buttons for each of your Govee devices and groups. is it a perfect fit on the wii u gamepad cradle that comes with the deluxe wii u bundle, or is it a bit too tight or do you have to take off the Rocketfish - Wii U InvisiShell - Transparent first, then you can charge the wii using the wii u gamepad cradle?
You can charge it on the cradle without taking off the casing. The case is designed to have enough open space near its bottom where the gamepad will rest on the cradle.
