When using with the spot cleaner it works well. I usually use a rental machine but got the spot cleaner for small areas when I don't need to do the whole room. After using it I can see that the rental machine isn't as good as I thought

I bought this because my dog started to have a little problem when it storms. I have to say it works great for what I need. If you have a tough old stain you will have to run it a few times but for the ones you can get to quick it cleans it up like a champ. The hand attachment works well and is a nice added tool. The hose leaks a little at times when using the hand tool but when using the bottom brush I haven't noticed any leaks.
I would give it 5 stars if it had a heater but besides that I don't have any complaints.
