This is the third movie involving the so called "suicide forest" that I have seen. While it was well made and acted, it was not as "scary" as the others. The supernatural aspect was downplayed in favor of a more psychological approach. While the ending was unexpected, it really wasn't sufficiently explained.

One of my favorite shows. The cop procedural part is about average for this kind of show. The fun part is the relationships between the characters. There are not very many shows with strong women as the main protagonists. This is one of the best.

This movie was more fun than I expected. It is a disaster movie in the Sharknado vein,but instead of tornadoes there are volcanoes in Santa Monica and instead of sharks there are giant fire breathing spiders. Silly but lots of fun. Watch for a cameo by the Sharknado guy.
