I think James Garfield does an excellent job as Spidey. I was getting tired of T. Macguire, who seemed too whiny. Emma stone and dennis leary also do great jobs. Action scenes are of course awesome in high def. I just wish the digital copy was itunes, since my library is stocked with those movies, and this is not compatible with apple tv.

This movie is kind of like jack bauer, do whatever it takes to get the job done. In this situation Liam Neeson is awesome getting his daughter back. I love how hard core he gets. Nice extra features and digital copy of the extended version, not the theatrical cut. Recommended for action buffs.

David Fincher's controversial Fight Club has had a few incarnations on DVD. This release offers a widescreen anamorphic transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 2.35:1. A closed-captioned English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital 5.1, while a French soundtrack has been recorded in Dolby Digital Surround. English and Spanish subtitles are accessible. Supplemental materials include four different commentary tracks. David Fincher performs one of the tracks solo. He is joined by actors Brad Pitt, Edward Norton, and Helena Bonham Carter on another track. The screenwriter Jim Uhls can be heard with the author of the original novel, Chuck Palahniuk. Lastly, a technical commentary track consists of many of the people who worked behind the camera. This is a great disc from 20th Century Fox.

Decided to go with this over comparable Vizio and Samsung based on reviews and personal research, even though this was pricier. Have always been a fan of Sony, and this doesn't disappoint. The PQ is excellent. Could care less about the 3D, personally think it's a dying gimmick. It definitely takes at least 2 people to mount it on it's stand. The stand has 2 stems that go into the base of the TV and you have to line it up perfectly. Since there was only 2 of us, we had to set the TV on a couch, attach the base first, then set it up on a tv stand. It's heavier than it looks. I would highly recommend this tv if you have the coin.

This a classic favorite of mine. Blu-ray makes it look so much better. So many classic lines with great actors. Not something to critique as a believable story line, but just a fun, romantic comedy. Disc extras are very cool too.

Basically the main difference that stuck out for me between this and the standard edition is longer scenes at the elves home base. Retail price is way too high, wait for a good sale. The action scenes are a delight to the senses on high def and in surround sound. This is what blu-ray is meant for.
I think Peter Jackson and George Lucas must have the same financial planner since they like to release different versions of their movies years apart so fools can buy all the different versions. Be patient! Wait for the extended version!
However, the extended version of this movie did not provide much more depth to the story like the ones for Lord of the Rings trilogy did.

Good not great movie

My review for the blu-ray set itself is very positive. Action scenes via CG of course look and sound great on blu-ray. Lots of disc extras. Price was so-so, had to price match with competitor for reasonable 20 buck cost. Seamless sync via itunes, unlike Dark Knight Rises which was a streaming Ultraviolet digital copy.
Review of the movie itself is a good but not great movie. Maybe my expectations were too high. I think RD JR is the quintessential Tony Stark. Hope this is not the last Iron Man movie, not counting Avengers sequels. Spoiler alert - I hate how the Mandarin character, although played very very well by Sir Kingsley, turns out to be nothing like in the Marvel Comics. That's why I knocked a star off an otherwise good but not great movie.

Bought for my wife. She loves it for her training and running events. She says that it is nice because you can change the screen to display the information you want, it accurately tracks your progress via gps, will tell you if you made any personal bests during runs, has a lighted function so she could read the screen when running at night, and she likes the color. She doesn't like the fact that it can take a few minutes for the GPS to locate you. She will turn on the GPS before getting dressed so she doesn't have to wait as long. Also it doesn't measure her heart rate like more expensive watches do, but that wasn't a feature she cared about anyways. Despite these flaws, she loves it.

This item works with PC and Mac. For mac it plugs into the lightning port and for PCs it obviously plugs into the mini display port. I was able to plug it into any TV or receiver with an HDMI port. It was very handy when I used it in a hotel to watch movies from my laptop without having to pay Hotel movie fees.

What material is used on the back
My skin has an allergic reaction to many forms of stainless steel, possibly nickel in SS. What material is used on the back of your GPS watches like this one?
for the garmin forerunner 10 it is mostly plastic on the back, but there are 4 screws at each corner and four small metal circles about 2mm for its contact connection plate via usb to a computer to down/upload information. These metal parts might be made of stainless steel, not sure, but is a very small component of the backing.
