Great action, bad writing

The animation, and action scenes were great but the story line was very poorly written and left more unresolved questions than what was answered. The plot holes in the story line were epic. It was more entertaining to watch this series with the volume turned off.

Nice special effects, good action scenes, 3D really helped this movie. Got it for under $10. Really this movie is 2.5 stars out of 5 but the rating scale doesn't allow half stars. I would recommend the 3D version of this film if you can purchase it for $10 or less.

Good anime series with good animation, and great voice acting. The shortness of this anime series hurt the story line as not a lot was explained and the plot and characters were not fully developed before the series ended. The story relied too much on fan service and tentacles for a thirteen episode series. The appearance of tentacles makes for awkward viewing with friends and family. This series deserved it's TVMA rating. I would recommend this series for people age 16+. This is not a good beginner series for those just getting into anime.

This is a great movie that harkens back to the old school action movie era when stunts were not computer generated. The action screens will honestly amaze you. The cinematography is excellent. This is the kind of movie that after you watch it you will be talking about it the next day with your friends at work. It is that great. I would say that is not the kind of movie for kids 12 and under to watch. Definitely purchase this movie in the 3D Blu-ray format.

Is this the droid I'm looking for? Will it help me reach Obi-Wan?
Yes this is the droid of which you seek. If you are a Star Wars fan who was a child when the franchise was first rolled out, R2 is and always will be "the droid", sorry BB-8. The mannerisms are spot on, and the controls via app are crisp and very responsive with no lag time. R2 is way easier to operate than BB-8, whose head seems to bobble around and sway like he has drunk a little too much. Unlike R2, BB-8 doesn't have a wide range of mannerisms mostly just beeps and shaking his head left to right. In my opinion R2 gives you more bang for your buck than the Disney droids. Sphero paid way more attention to detail with R2 as compared to the Disney droids. If you can only choose one, choose R2. I hope that Sphero produces more remote control droids from the Star Wars franchise (like R5-D4) and a remote controlled Jawa Crawler would definitely be awesome.
