Heath Ledger's performance as The Joker in The Dark Knight will forever stay in my mind as one of the signature and greatest performances of any actor or actress in film history. This documentary sheds light into his preparation for that iconic role as well as those for his other films. Beyond that, it tells the story of a genuinely good and creative person who wanted to exceed at the highest level in his crafts and as a human being. To say the least, his star is one which tragically burned out far too soon.
I missed seeing this in theaters when it came out, but I watched it on demand. It is a very good movie about the meteoric rise of McDonalds, and it features a great performance by Michael Keaton as the tenacious but undermining and cold future CEO Ray Kroc.
