Okay, not being a hard core gamer it probably doesn't take much to impress me. I remember playing the original Madden on the PS (1). Graphics are impressive and the play is realistic. Still figuring out all the buttons but have fun playing. I try to by the preowned older version to see if I like the game then maybe opt for the latest version if I like it.

I have had a PlayStation since the first version came out years ago. I was happy with my PS3 but decided to splurge and get a PS4. I am not a hard core games but will play some sports games and a few others. Graphics are amazing, sound is fantastic and the box itself looks pretty cool. Opting for the Pro version I hopefully have future proofed as much as possible when it comes to game consoles.

After being without a Dyson vacuum for several years, my wife traded in my Animal on another vacuum, I was excited for the new ball. I love the automatic height adjustment so I don't have to figure out which setting to use for different carpets or wood floors in my house. From the beginning, it is pretty straight forward to assemble. Like four things click together and you're ready to go. I like the integrated hose and attachments so everything is always with me and not in a separate bag in the utility closet. Performance wise it is what you would expect from a Dyson. I had new carpet installed about six months ago and it does well with 72oz frieze carpet. The one problem was with the 78oz pile that is in my bedroom. This carpet is extremely thick and deep and the auto height adjustment has a problem with it and the brush will periodically stop depending on the direction of the carpet and the direction I'm pushing the vacuum. It did get through it but it was a bit slower process. If you have rooms with very dense and deep carpet this might not be the vacuum for you. For everything else including the hardwood floors it was great!

I have used a number of different brands of headphones over the years some cheap ones that were pretty good and some expensive ones that I realized were way overpriced. In the past when I'd get headphone I would take them out of the package, plug them in and go. I actually read the instructions with these and I would recommend you take a couple minutes to do so. It did make setup go smoothly. Have them paired with my computer and phone and all works as it should. Sound quality is far superior to others I have spent equal to or more on! I would say they are in the top two for sound. Call quality is just okay but then again I didn't get these for the purpose of facilitating conference calls. The heart monitor is a plus and seems to work as it should. I haven't found any that are always spot on. During workouts, they stay in my ears! And they do this without the excess pressure on my ears from some that I have tried. If i have one complaint it is the difficulty of changing the ear pieces. Maybe my fingers are too big but it took more time to change the ear pieces that it did to get them configured. Overall I would definitely recommend these for anyone who needs a pair to use during their exercise routine.

Nice product for a predominantly wireless home

This product is intriguing due to its simplicity of setup and the ease at which you can expand your coverage. unlike a range extender that will us it's own SSID these tie together and expand a single SSID which makes connecting devices seamless. The setup was easy however I was a bit nervous that I had to disconnect my current router which i have to say is phenomenal. The current setup is a Linksys EA 9500 and a range extender. It has great throughput but it has to cover three floors of approximately 1500 feet each so when you get to the third level wifi becomes dicey which is why I have an access point connected to the router. The router is also located in a network closet where all wired connections terminate. There are 38 LAN drops and most are used. Things that are important to me are throughput (I have a gigabit internet connection), the ability to reserve LAN IP's (two servers, alarm system, etc) and good VPN and remote access. Whenever possible I use a wired connection but don't have reservations about going wireless when necessary. So far the Velop has performed well although not to the standards of the previous setup. For most this would probably not be an issue but I do put a consistent load on my router.
Setup was easy and painless and took about 5 minutes per node. It is literally plug and play, just follow the instructions on your phone, yes you use a wireless device to set everything up. Everything auto configures so even a novice to networking could have it up and running in no time. Once setup was complete wifi worked like a champ. Since I used the same SSID as before all the wireless devices connected without issue. One of the first things I did was run a speed test I did this from both the app and from a web browser. I am see very different results. On the app it is showing 800+ Mbps down and 900+ up. The browser is showing <100 down and 600 up. In either case it should not be a problem but I would like to understand the delta. Overall though the system is function as described and looks great. The nodes actually look like little pieces of art so that is a bonus.

I recently upgraded my desktop for my business to a 6 core AMD Phenom II processor and figured my 4 GB of memory would be enough. Although performance is amazing it just didn't seem to be where I thought it should be so I swapped out the four 1GB sticks for four 2GB sticks. Of all that's holy this things screams now! I have yet to come close to maxing out memory or CPU utilization even while burning a DVD, streaming video from the net and working on a presentation; 8% for CPU and 19% for memory.

After finally getting frustrated with the modem provided by the cable company I decided to get my own. Of course they asked why since I wasn't paying to lease the one I had. Well their own speed tests confirmed I had throughput of about 9Mbps on a good day when I'm paying for 20Mbps service. I swapped out the old modem with the Motorola, called them with the MAC ID and was up and running in a matter of minutes. Of course the first thing was to perform a speed test, the same one that I used before the swap. 20.6Mbps! Not only is my internet connection substantially faster but the built in WiFi has a better reach than my previous router AND the home network runs faster since I've eliminated a piece of equipment; stand alone router. My home network is used quite extensively too; 3 cell phones, 2 ipads, two laptops, 1 desktop, 2 home servers, 2 gaming consoles, 4 Blu-ray players, 1 stereo and a security system. This router/modem hasn't missed a beat yet!

9 month update

In all fairness I feel it is necessary to post an update to my previous post. First, 90 days after I installed it the WiFi would drop and not reconnect until i rebooted the modem. This normally would be that big of a deal except my home automation and alarm system run off the WiFi connection. When WiFi is lost for an extended period the security system will alert me with a continuous beeping until I deactivate it; even at 3 in the morning! Took it back and exchanged it for another thinking I may have just gotten a bad apple. Unfortunately that was not the case. Four months later the newer one started doing the same thing. There were times even rebooting would not solve the problem. As nice as it would have been to have one device that did the job of three, this was not it! Even the wired connections were beginning to run slow. I had upgraded my Time Warner to the 100Mbp package and was getting about 25 in most cases. Back to the store (yes I got the extended warranty) and I decided to go back to two devices. I went with the SB6141 which is basically the same device without wireless and routing. Plugged my Dlink DIR-655 wireless router into the 6141 and haven't looked back. The concept of an all in one device is great but the execution was well below expectation. One other thing, the interface used to configure the modem is basic at best. Most features are either on or off and some you just can't configure. Overall I would not recommend this product after using it for just under a year.

Technically, how does the "Eraser" upright suction compare to Dyson and Shark? Please be specific. Please use a common comparable medium such as half full or 90 percent full. "Empty" or "new" would not be helpful. Thank you.
I have owned both the Dyson Animal and the Bissell and found the suction to be equal to the Dyson. It does not lose suction even when it is 3/4 full. I have a smaller Shark unit so I don't think that would be a fair comparison. I also have a Kirby that can suck the chrome off a bumper as long as the bag isn't more than half full. The Eraser has a few feature I like including not clogging, easy empty canister (I haven't had to dig anything thing out) and the brush roller that doesn't get string or hair wrapped around it. I don't know how it does that but that has been a problem with every vacuum I've owned.

What's better Plasma or LED
I have 1 Plasma and 6 LCD TV's and have had really no problems from any of them. The plasma seems to have a slightly more vivid picture that may be simply because of the settings. It appears that LCDs have progressed to the point that the huge gap between them and Plasmas has been greatly closed. After recently buying a new LCD I just didn't see the justification forthe extra spend for a bedroom tv that was a plasma.
