The very first thing you will notice is the weight of the package. This is one solid stand. It has a great finish and even has a soft protective padding where the back of the phone rests. There is a supplied AC adapter that unlike some stands that I have seen, will charge both the watch and phone simultaneously. The connector for the watch is integrated into the stand and the watch fits perfectly without any issue. One nice feature for your phone is the adjustable connector on the phone cradle. If you have a case on your phone you can use the adjustment wheel on the back to raise or lower the seven pin connector to your phones needs. Very nice touch as I hate having to remove my phone from my case to put in a charging stand. I had an otter case on and made the adjustment and it worked fine. If that one works I would guess just about any would. Finally unlike my previous stands, one for the watch and one for the phone, this one makes things easy and doesn't lift up with the phone when you try and remove it from the cradle. Did I mention this thing is solid?!!

Finally an extender that works

I have tried a number of different ways to get my wifi signal stronger on my second floor since the wifi router is three floors below I get an okay signal but it can be hit an miss. What I liked about this extender is that it will also work as a wired access point. Since I have Cat6 run throughout the house it was as simple as plugging the extender into an outlet and the network cable into the extender. I did the wireless configuration on my iPhone web browser. Less than 5 minutes later I was able to connect my wireless devices without a problem. I now have AC speeds and a full signal. One suggestion is to name the wifi network something different from your main network primarily so you can more easily isolate problems should the arise.

More than enough for most homes

Before I go into the details of the device I want you to know what I have been dealing with. I have been using Google fiber for the past year and love the service. The WiFi not so much. It is basic at best with a lot of dead spots in my home. Two stories with a full walkout lower level so, so three stories on the backside. This afternoon I installed the router and one recommendation is to follow the instructions exactly. This device has a lot of features so it is best to go through the manual first especially if you are not very familiar with a router. When I say feature rich it is no exaggeration. Everything from DHCP reservations to setting up a vlan is pretty straightforward. As for the basic setup, I would recommend connecting a computer directly for the initial setup although you can do it via wireless, including a phone or tablet. Once you get to the actual setup it pretty much does it itself and allows you to change the SSID and password from the initial setup. If you have devices wired make sure you restart them so they will pick up their new IP's. Total setup time was about 30 minutes and that is partly because I forgot to reboot computers. As for features, it has 8, yes 8 gigabit ports plus enough antennas to talk to the ISS. The web interface lets you connect from anywhere and the support for 2.4GHz and 5GHz on both the primary and guest networks is nice. If you are looking for an absolutely amazing router look no further.

Great printing color

These cartridges provide great printing quality for everything from black and white to photos. Two complaints; first is how much ink is used to calibrate and or clean the print heads and secondly how quickly you go through ink. I've actually starting putting the date on the cartridges so I know when I replace them how long they lasted. I do much more scanning and faxing than I do printing and I'm lucky if I get 3 months out of a set. Even the XL's don't seem to go that far. Seriously looking into a color laser. At least then I know I'll get upwards of 500-1000 or more pages before I have to do a refill. Right now I'm lucky if I get 50-75 pages before the cartridges are empty.

Amazing graphics

I bought this card because I want to take advantage of all the real estate on my two 24" monitors. My old card would display on two monitors but I had a black border around the edge. No longer. The graphics are clean and fast and use the full screen on both monitors at 1920. I don't game but may start.

Pleasantly Surprised!

After just three years my Harmony 1100 shot craps. I started looking and was surprised to see so few of these types of remotes available at least that weren't in the same or higher price neighborhood as the 1100. I saw the Smart Control and was a bit skeptical about how well it would work and if I would like not having a touchscreen. Once you get past the setup which isn't intuitive, I'm shocked at how well it performs. It doesn't matter if I'm using my iPhone 5 or the included remote, the system is responsive with no lag like I encountered with the 1100. Now the only question is about longevity. One nice thing to point out is that all the settings from by 1100 were imported so I did not have to setup all the equipment or activities. Everything functioned just as it had in the past.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: Setup instructions a little weak

I recently upgraded my desktop for my business to a 6 core AMD Phenom II processor and figured my 4 GB of memory would be enough. Although performance is amazing it just didn't seem to be where I thought it should be so I swapped out the four 1GB sticks for four 2GB sticks. Of all that's holy this things screams now! I have yet to come close to maxing out memory or CPU utilization even while burning a DVD, streaming video from the net and working on a presentation; 8% for CPU and 19% for memory.

After finally getting frustrated with the modem provided by the cable company I decided to get my own. Of course they asked why since I wasn't paying to lease the one I had. Well their own speed tests confirmed I had throughput of about 9Mbps on a good day when I'm paying for 20Mbps service. I swapped out the old modem with the Motorola, called them with the MAC ID and was up and running in a matter of minutes. Of course the first thing was to perform a speed test, the same one that I used before the swap. 20.6Mbps! Not only is my internet connection substantially faster but the built in WiFi has a better reach than my previous router AND the home network runs faster since I've eliminated a piece of equipment; stand alone router. My home network is used quite extensively too; 3 cell phones, 2 ipads, two laptops, 1 desktop, 2 home servers, 2 gaming consoles, 4 Blu-ray players, 1 stereo and a security system. This router/modem hasn't missed a beat yet!

9 month update

In all fairness I feel it is necessary to post an update to my previous post. First, 90 days after I installed it the WiFi would drop and not reconnect until i rebooted the modem. This normally would be that big of a deal except my home automation and alarm system run off the WiFi connection. When WiFi is lost for an extended period the security system will alert me with a continuous beeping until I deactivate it; even at 3 in the morning! Took it back and exchanged it for another thinking I may have just gotten a bad apple. Unfortunately that was not the case. Four months later the newer one started doing the same thing. There were times even rebooting would not solve the problem. As nice as it would have been to have one device that did the job of three, this was not it! Even the wired connections were beginning to run slow. I had upgraded my Time Warner to the 100Mbp package and was getting about 25 in most cases. Back to the store (yes I got the extended warranty) and I decided to go back to two devices. I went with the SB6141 which is basically the same device without wireless and routing. Plugged my Dlink DIR-655 wireless router into the 6141 and haven't looked back. The concept of an all in one device is great but the execution was well below expectation. One other thing, the interface used to configure the modem is basic at best. Most features are either on or off and some you just can't configure. Overall I would not recommend this product after using it for just under a year.

I did the migration without incident or errors. It copied the MBR and all the partitions from the old drive to the new one. Total time was about two hours but I was also walking away and letting it do its thing so it may have been much less.

If I understand your question accurately, you are asking if you can remotely control the bulbs from outside your home and the answer is yes. Using the Google home app you can control all devices that have been configured through the app. I also have a hub to integrate my various smart home devices that work on different protocols. If you want to be able to voice control your devices you will need to have a puck in each location. As an example, in my master bedroom I have one that I can tell to turn on lights in other rooms. I have a couple pucks throughout the house so that I don't have to scream across rooms to do something.

Do you need to have certain ights in your home for this switch to be compatible? For example, Phillips Hue LED lights or will it work with a regular floodlight or GE incandescent bulb? Lastly- How many lights can one switch control?
The switch is rated for up to 600w of incandescent bulbs and 150w of LED or CFL bulbs. I don't use the Philips Hue bulbs but can't see any reason they would not work since they are LED's. How many you can have on one switch is dependent on the wattage of the bulbs used. 6 100w bulbs, 12 50w and so on but that is just a gauge. When it comes to electricity and the unknown, seeking the advice of an electrician can be worth the time.

No, but a quick trip to the google store and you can get Kodi loaded.

What is the upload and download speed for this box. What does it top out at.
Let me preface with, there are a number of factors that contribute to the actual upload/download speed. With that said, the Ethernet connection on the box is a Gigabit port and if you are going wireless it supports 802.11AC and 802.3z. Long story short, if it is downloading slowly there is probably a problem somewhere else. I have a gigabit fiber connection coming into my home with the house wired for gigabit throughout. I have had zero problems performing downloads related to the box or network. Some of the external sites however were a different story.
