A little dark but interesting

Not the type of music I usually listen to, but glad I bought it. I got pulled in by Jackie and Wilson, but glad I stuck around to check it out. His lyrics are a little dark, but interesting with some depth.

Great blast from the past

I bought the vinyl album when it first came out and loved it. I no longer have a turntable and missed the music so much I just had to get the CD. So great to hear these amazing artists when they were at the top of their game. It introduced me to Leon Russell and Rita Coolidge in addition to Joe Cocker. Amazing stuff!

I love the 2 discs. I was afraid doing the same songs, 1 by the band, and the other with guest artists, would be redundant, but not at all. Each is very distinctive and just plain great.
