Russia's entry for the Best Foreign Film falls flat. The love story is quite silly and out of place in the Battle of Stalingrad. The battle scenes are shot quite well but everything else is subpar.

This is by far the best non-Pixar animated Disney in at least a decade. Be warned, it's a musical...but delightful for the whole family. While light on extras, the Mickey short is fantastic!
