I purchased this device doe when I would be traveling, and did not expect much. To my amazement I prefer it to my MacBook Pro it is a lot lighter and the slower cpu is not an issue. I have to remember to bring a dongle, but hey the HDMI, USB-C and USB dongle is excellent.

Is this the same HRM that comes with M400?
Is this the same HRM that comes with the M400 package deal? Best Buy currently has both the M400 and this item on sale for less than the two items bundled, so I wanted to buy them separate if it is the same item. Thanks.
It is the same device that comes with the M400, V800, and v650 to name a few.

Yes it does work with the iphone 5. There is an app (polar beat) that will allow you to use the strap as a full fitness tracker.
