Excellent Pre-amplifier

The first thing I noticed when opening this product is the build quality. Heavy duty and well built with quality components. The pre-amp provides a clear and detailed listening experience. The YPAO room correction/set up works well at setting the appropriate levels, but set most of the speakers to large. So I manually adjusted them to small to set the crossover at 80hz. Other than that this has been a great pre-amp. Plus it passes through hdr content and dolby vision.

Big and powerful

This subwoofer provides plenty of bass for music and movies. It gets down low enough to send vibrations through the couch. The sub is also accurate and precise without the muddy or boomy booms that some subs produce. However the sub is very large and heavy. Due to the large size the sub is extremely hard to move by yourself. This thing is pushing 90lbs. Make sure you have enough room for the sub because it looks like a mini fridge, but its frickin awesome.

Clear, dynamic, precise

The 280f speakers provide a dynamic and dramatic experience when watching movies or listening to music. The speakers reveal a lot of detail and are very clear. I have these hooked up to a separate amp which provides them with plenty of power. These speakers are so clear with no distortion that I can't tell really tell if I'm listening to them loud or not. I have to go by the db reading off of the preamp. Lesser quality speakers are more obvious when played loud due to the decline in quality. Oh and one more thing. These speakers are not as big as some have described on other online reviews. That almost scared me off, but once I got them in the room the speakers look fine. One Chris Stapleton Song I played through the 280f revealed a singer singing in the background that I had never heard when using my car stereo. I was blown away and amazed that I had never noticed that before.

OLED is amazing. I have been watching movies on blu ray for two months now and even those blow me away. I see details in movies and dark scenes that I never knew existed. I watched Return of the Jedi and in Jaba's palace I saw creatures in the shadows that I have never seen in thirty years of watching that movie. If you really want to see what the black levels are about watch Attack of the clones when Obi Wan is being chased by Jango Fett through an asteroid field. Its was mind blowing. I knew I wanted a new tv and thought the contrast ratios and the infinite black levels would make it worth the price and I was correct. Blu Rays look awesome and most directv channels look good depending on the quality of the feed. I can't wait to actually watch something in 4k.
