The device was easy to setup and program, however in the afternoons it would not hold the temperature and the house would go 3 to 5 degrees above my eco setting. This made the house 81 to 84 and took long to call down. I had to return the device after working with NEST support as it would not hold the 78 max I wanted. It may have been my cooling system, but my digital thermostat works fine. I would recommend the product but user needs to be aware of the temperature swing.
