This is one of the best titles for the Wii U and I believe the best Mario Kart game to date. I purchased this game in May 2014 and am still playing it with friends and family over a year later. The visuals are stunning and there is so much detail in everything (mustaches flowing in the wind, character glares). The base game has 32 courses that are all unique and fun to race on. The game also seems to be more balanced then previous entries. The online play works good but the lack of voice chat is a disappointment. The DLC is inexpensive and give you 16 more tracks, 6 more racers, and a bunch of kart customizations. The zero gravity element is subtle and adds a great new dynamic without being gimmicky. The game can be extremely challenging for advanced players but also easy for casual play depending on the speed you choose. This is a great game that all can enjoy for many hours.

I am a huge fan of the Zelda franchise but had never played a Dynasty Warriors game before. I really enjoyed seeing all of the stages based on the different Zelda titles and using a variety of familiar characters. The gameplay itself I felt was fairly repetitive. You really just go around performing combos non-stop until you meet some requirement on the battlefield. It is fun being overpowered and decimating huge amounts of enemies, but after a while I found myself just being bored. The music is pretty terrible which is a bummer because the Zelda series is known for some great music. Co-op is fun but the picture quality drops significantly. Overall it is a fun game to play mindlessly at times and to go through the story (although the story and voicing is awful). Once you complete the game though, there isn't that much to go back for.

Super Smash Bros for Wii U is an amazing game with so much to offer. The roster is huge with over 50 characters (more being released with DLC also). There are a good amount of stages with each game being represented. New items, custom move sets, amiibo support, and so many other improvements make this one of the best in the series. The game handles very well (slower than Melee but faster than Brawl) and seems to be more balanced. The online works ok but is never as fast as a local game. This is great game that brings together all of Nintendo's beloved franchises. This fighting game is unique to all other fighting games and is great for all players.
