I purchased this to replace a Uniden phone that finally died. It is connected to our Magic Jack. Very easy to set up. Nice and loud, with large lighted numbers. Not using answering machine because it's connected to Magic Jack. Good phone. Only downsides, the base of the phone is narrow, so it cannot stand alone. Also, on caller ID, you have to delete all the numbers. I liked to do it individually. Just my preference.

Amazon changed the operating system so it took me a while to figure it out. I set this up for my son with special needs. I tried to make it as simple as possible for him. It is a little bigger. The sound isn't as good as the previous fire tablet. It also seems very slippery. I got a rubber honeycomb type cover for it. That seems to help us to grip it better. Over all, it's a good tablet for a child. Just use parental controls, and get a good cover for it.

I purchased the rocketfish subwoofer kit to complement the rocketfish surround sound kit that I purchased a few years ago. I rearranged my living room and TV area. The sub was not going to fit. Went on BB and found this. Picked it up, they had an open box for an extra $10. Off. Hooked it up and away we go! It works great. There is no hesitation or lag. I have it on the same power strip as the surround sound. So I can either leave it on independently, or together.
I adjusted the settings on my Onkyo receiver, and everything sounds fine.
Perfect for those who like to "move things around".
The only thing is a cheap RCA wire comes in the kit. I have several digital cables that I use instead. One for the receiver, and one for the sub.

I purchased this new Magic Jack device to replace one that failed. I wanted to have a house phone again as a back up to our cell phone. Minus the monthly bills. This device hooked up easily. There is a plug adapters to either plug into wall or take it off and plug into a usb on the computer. It has a Ethernet port that plugs directly to the modem, and a phone jack that plugs into a phone. You create or sign in to your accounts and pick your number. There is also an option to port an existing phone number. There is a small fee for this, and it takes a little bit longer to do this. There is also an extra charge for true 911'service. This is a state fee.
As far as sound quality, there is some static at times, but I haven't dropped a call yet. I'm using a cheap phone. But it works, it's inexpensive and we have a home phone for only a few dollars a month.

I originally purchased a Samsung 24 inch HD monitor with similar features. The Samsung kept shutting off at random. I returned it for this Asus monitor. It is bright, clear and was relatively easy to set up. The only thing Is accessing the controls. They are placed under the screen, which is a little difficult for someone with large hands.We are using it with an HDMI cable for the best color and clarity. So far so good. The computer recognized it immediate and drivers were updated. It was also $20.00 cheaper than the Samsung.

I chose the Amazon fire stick over the fire tv primarily for the price. Best buy has it on sale for $24.99 as a Black Friday special. It was very easy to hook up. It walked me through the set up and linked me to my Amazon Prime account. I have in in our bedroom so I could stream Watch ESPN and a few tv shows on Prime. There were no issues connecting to wifi. It's also dual band capable and it's fairly close to our home router. It works!
It comes with a power adapter, remote control, and an HDMI extender. You do have to keep it plugged in. That may be the only issue with it. Because now I have another wire hanging down from the tv....

Yes, it will charge an iPhone 6. You just need the cable for the iPhone.

Can I just use my wifi connection to get connected with the FireTV Stick/
I have Fios and wifi internet. I don't have a cell phone with internet access.
Yes it works with wifi. It's also dual band. It was pretty easy to get it to connect. Just follow the set up and put on wifi password
