I've always liked the Doctor Strange character, and this movie is a great take on the comic series. You may be used to the standard Marvel superhero fare, so this the idea of a superhero who uses magic may be a seem a little, dare I say it, strange. But I think it fits well into the new MCU and, as much as I've enjoyed all the Marvel movies so far, this is one of my favorites. Benedict Cumberbatch, I think, was the perfect choice, also, to play Dr. Stephen Strange. I look forward to seeing more of Dr. Strange in the upcoming movies and hopefully to another Dr. Strange movie.
For fans of the awesome space cowboy anime series Cowboy Bebop, this movie is a perfect spin-off from the series. By that I mean it's basically just a long episode fitting into the series before the end and it is not a sequel as many fans would have liked. That being said, it's still a great movie and a great story.
This is a great animated flick featuring the dark version of the Justice League. As a fan of the Constantine character, I was very excited to not only see this dvd offered but to see it come in this great set with bth a graphic novel AND a figurine of Constantine. I loved the short-lived Constantine TV show, so I was also excited to have Matt Ryan come back and voice Constantine for this.
The beginning chapters of the animated manga adaptation are included in this chapter, as the story of the teenage girl named Usagi Tsukino, who is transformed into the justice-seeking hero known as Sailor Moon, begins. The collection contains all 14 episodes from the first season, which center around Usagi, her friends Luna and Mamoru, and her adventures and battles as she attempts to procure the powerful Legendary Silver Crystal and protect the endangered Princess.
This is a great reboot of one of the popular animes from the 1990s. Watching it brings a sense of nostalgia, as the original Sailor Moon anime was one of my firsts. Crystal is a great reboot of the show, going back to the original manga for not only the art style but also for the storyline, which it does a good job of staying fairly close to. I highly recommend it.
