Easy MP3

Verified Purchase:Yes
This is a very easy to use MP3 player. User interface is very simple. I bought this to get me through until I get a phone with more memory. However I like it so much that I'll keep it even past that point. The clip it comes with is nice. Very light and easy to forget you have it on. The buttons work nicely and how you would expect (up is up, down is down, and so on). I never use the timer. The radio works pretty well for what it is, I tested the radio out in the middle of nowhere and got all my stations in and a couple were only a little fuzzy. In town radio should work fine. Accessing the SD card is simple although many file types, it seems, are not supported. Pictures, for instance, cannot be viewed in jpg. Most documents cannot be opened. The audible books is a nice touch, though I haven't tested that. Internal/External memory cannot be merged, so the two music sources remain separate from each other and you manually switch back and forth. Deleting songs directly from the player as you listen is a nice touch. Select song, song starts playing, hit down, then select delete, then select yes. Slight delay while deleting, as expected, then automatically takes you to the next song. The music will stop if you try multitasking on it. Using timer, or trying to view folder files on the card and so on. No cover for the SD card slot. This has got the shuffle feature which is great. You copy and paste music from your computer to the player. Big bonus there. Charging takes a couple hours, but I can get a couple off one charge easy. I didn't try the earbuds that came with it, I used my Skull Candies, and the sound quality of the music is amazing for this little thing. It uses a universal charging cable, another huge bonus. One less cable to keep around since it works with my phone's cable. You can customize and shut off features you dont want to use. I shut off the timer and folder because I never use them. So as I scroll through my options, I only see Settings, Music, Radio, and Books. Those can be turned back on at anytime in Settings, under Customize and pushing the Right button to toggle on or off. To avoid any issues with having to switch back and forth between internal/external memory (if you only have a few gigs of music like me) just spend the extra few bucks and get the 8gb. I managed to catch a sale and saved $13. All in all, with the very minor issues, that are really more a minor annoyance, this is a good player for anyone who's looking to save a few bucks and doesn't mind not being to multitask or view pictures and documents, and I would buy it again.

My Album Art shows as files in the folder as if they were songs How do I delete the album Art?

All Album art shows as a separate jpeg files within the music folders. So I have to constantly skip them as I play music. The menu won't seem to let me delete them, and When I hook it up to the computer they don't show separately as a file I can delete. How do I get rid of the album Art files??
If it shows up while playing music, hit the down button while it's on screen. Options, including delete, will show up.
