Huge setup problems and gaming lag
on June 30, 2017

Bought the Linksys EA9500 for its extended range and speeds as a replacement of my old Netgear router. I've built my last 3 PCs so I'm technically inclined with most things PC. The setup was problematic. Had to call customer service and they still couldn't get it right. After an hour and a half of talking to multiple foreigners that were difficult to understand we finally got things going. Thinking we were in the clear, we all began using our day to day equipment as usual. Most things worked just fine. Kindles, Ipads, Phones....no problems. My gaming computer that ran wonderfully on the Netgear, but began experiencing major lag spikes on the Linksys to the point where I had to stop gaming. As a gamer, that's inexcusable. Restarts and tweeks here and there and then more restarts to clear up the lag issues all failed to fix the problem. Very disappointed in Linksys. For the amount of money I paid for this, and the amount of time spent with their customer service, this is shameful. I have since unplugged the Linksys and repackaged it for return. The old Netgear is back up and running like a champ again. When I upgrade tomorrow, it will be with the Netgear Nighthawk X6 and I'll use the older Netgear in tandem. I should've stuck with what worked and saved myself a couple hours of headache. Lesson learned.

Enjoy your media with this Samsung BD-H5900/ZA Blu-ray player. To build a complete 3D home theater system, we recommend you purchase a 3D TV, 3D glasses designed for the TV, high-speed HDMI cable and an A/V receiver that is compatible with 3D products.

Doesn't stand the test of time

bought it a year ago. lots of widgets and fun little things like that. Worked great under light use until last night (a year after owning it). We usually watch our movies with the TV that has the surround sound system hooked up to it. So this player only saw on average, a movie or two a month. And just last night, it "Bricked". wont turn on and won't reset. I'm going to have to pull it apart to get my blu-ray out.

Amazing sound.....but

Type of Listener:Avid listener
Most Important to Purchase:Sound quality
How Often Used:Daily
If you have this thing pointed at you...your in for a treat. lows are nice, mids are warm, and highs are crisp. Unfortunately its doesn't have a room "filling" sound to it. You actually need to be in front of it. If your to the sides of it or its not pointed at you, the sound quality diminishes quite a lot. It really needs its own "place" in your house, a central location that points it in a desired direction. Put it there...leave it there. This will NOT fit on a mantle or shelf less that 14 inches deep. I don't care what the specs say. You have to allow for the cords in the back so don't be fooled by the dimensions measurement...you need more than that (the dock sticks out). Be careful with kids. If you've got young ones, the bare speakers could be a point of curiosity for them, so set it up out of their reach. Yes there are some set backs for this unit. As I'm writing this i feel like I'm bashing it. That's not the case really. As far as what it sounds like if you've got it set up in the right place, I don't think you'll find another speaker that puts out the quality of sound that this does. I played music from every type I've got, and it was like Christmas. From oldies to 90s R&B to modern rock, all sounded fantastic. Unfortunately I'm returning it simply because my wife needs something a little less a "permanent" fixture. I wish she would've clarified that before I picked it up.
What's great about it: Sound quality, style, lows.
What's not so great: heavy, Need to be in front of it. Doesnt "fill" the room, open speakers,Pricey

Better than Modern Warfare? Yes in my opinion, but not a fair comparison, Modern Warfare is an arcade type, fast paced shooter where getting fragged is no big deal. Just respawn, spray and pray. Battlefield requires a bit more tact. In BFBC getting killed hurts your teams effort. A team focus is absolutely necessary to win. You can play as fast or as slow as you would like. Hardcore mode is wonderful for the more tactical minded. Its not a sim, but its a nice blend of a sim and a arcade shooter. The vehicles are amazing. The destructible environments are awesome and a colapsing building will certainly kill you if your in it when it goes. Its a complete and very well balanced game. Even vs. a tank, a couple of decent players can take one down. Its got every aspect of a shooter for every taste. Great game. I actually traded in my copy of modern warfare and bought my brother a copy of BFBC2 for his birthday. Best present I ever bought him. We're on blowing things up whenever possible.
What's great about it: So much to do, and looks amazing
What's not so great: the first week when your learning the ins and outs, you die...alot, lol.

Nostalgic Goodness

This was a wonderful find for me. I was a huge fan of this show, eventhough i was only 10. The episodes are all entertaining for adults and most are kid friendly. My kids were absolutely laughing their heads off while watching "Mummy, Daddy". We watch an episode a night, and its been so long since I've seen them its like watching them for the first time all over again.
What's great about it: A time trip back to childhood to all who grew up in the 80's
What's not so great: Made in the 80's, so forget surround sound, Hi Def, or Widescreen

What a Disapoiment
By Juan from Fulton ky
The computer Worked great until week 2. after that, playing a game it freeze and then restart its self with no Error code popping up. Just for everyone's information this Computer is the MSI cx61 2ps. Best buy does not state the name of it in the description. Geek Squad looked at the problem it was having and they couldnt figure out as to why it was doing what it was doing, and they would not let me take it back and exchange it for a new or different laptop. I would have to say, i wish this did work great as it is a very Sexi (gamer Sexi) laptop. but sadly it dosent, and now iam left with a P.O.S that cant preform what it was intended to do, and its not even a month old yet.

Under a month old? In that case its at least covered by factory warranty. All you need to do is simply contact MSI and ship it to them for repair. You are only stuck with it working that way if you choose to be.
