Poor build quality

I've used Dysons for years, and after retiring my old Dyson Animal after 7 years, we decided to pick up this vacuum, ostensibly Dyson's top-of-the-line upright. My, how things have changed in 7 years.
The build quality is atrocious. Parts are thinner and lighter, but not necessarily more sturdy. Whereas on my old Dyson, the attachments fit together nicely, on this one we have to fidget a little bit, and even then they don't stay seated perfectly.
The ball has terribly low resistance, which means that it will try to turn when you just want to go straight.
But the worst is the hose. It's flimsy, and kinks right at where the tools attach. It's also more difficult to return to the housing after you want to stow it back away.
I guess Dyson's not interested in being the best quality anymore...

Another solid entry into the series

Guitar Hero III has lost little in the transition to new developer Neversoft, as it retains much of the same look and feel as previous entries in the series. It's this adherence to the tried-and-true formula that ensures that fans of the series will have a blast with this title, but it's also the one thing that keeps this game from true greatness.
The new battle mode is an interesting addition, but it never gets really fleshed out. Pretty much once you launch an attack on your opponent, there is already little chance of recovery, since the attack sequences generally come by more quickly than the other person can recover, allowing you to just steamroll over them. All in all, it's fun, but not perfect.
The song list is one of the best ever, with true classics of rock that are incredibly fun to play and master. While I miss some of the oddities of the previous game's soundtracks, this is overall a very solid setlist.
The online multiplayer is a very welcome addition, though the game does not do a very good job of allowing players of different skill levels enjoy playing together, which limits the online pool for most players.
One thing that players will notice is that the game is a lot more forgiving in the timing department. There is a larger window in which you can hit the notes than in the previous series, which helps to make the game feel less frustrating. However, any potential decrease in challenge because of this is made up for by the fact that the songs are densely packed with complex strings of notes that require a lot of dexterity.
Finally, for players on the 360, it should be noted that this game is no walk in the park for achievement seekers. Unlike Guitar Hero II, the main gameplay and unlocking extras provides little in the way of points. Most of the points come from punishing tasks like playing songs with a standard controller, and playing the entire game with a lefty flip. This wouldn't be so annoying if the rewards for these tasks weren't so small (only 10 points for playing the entire game lefty?).
What's great about it: Great song selection, forgiving gameplay that still retains challenge
What's not so great: Battle mode isn't as fun as it should be, gameplay is more of the same
I would recommend this to a friend!
