I have always bought Whirlpool washers/dryers because they never let me down. This one, just like the rest is AMAZING. I was a bit hesitant at first about the Load & Go and didn't plan to use that feature...BUT I am now a MAJOR supporter of it! I LOVE that I only have to add detergent once or twice a month! It makes washing so much faster.

I read that some people had problems with mold in the detergent drawer, but I have found that with all front-load washers, it's best to leave the detergent drawer and door open after done washing to let everything dry. I do that every time and have been doing it for years, it makes a big difference in the life of the washer.

Can you bypass the bulk detergent dispenser to add a different detergent for a single load?

Yes, you can simply remove the dispenser. BUT, the bulk dispenser is SUPER EFFICIENT. I didn't think I'd love it at first, but I'm a HUGE fan now!
