I tend to prefer the ridged periscope vents, but this one does what it is supposed to do. Easy install, keeps lint contained. Get a new one when you replace your dryer. Don't forget to clean the entire run, too!

It all depends on how/where they mount. I would figure that out and take measurements of my base and go to the store to compare to the new units. A more thorough approach would be to disassemble the two you have to get a clearer idea of how and where they mount.
I kept my old ones and hope to repurpose for storage somewhere else. Different brand and about 7 - 8 years old so totally incompatible

How long does it take to get parts for LG washers and dryers and service if needed
I have heard it takes a long time to get parts and do repairs for LG washers and dryers, is this true?
Parts are readily available from several national distributors and a few more online. Prices and delivery times do vary, and it doesn't appear as though my local vendors stock many parts, but I found that to be true with other brands I have owned as well. I needed a door spring for an LG refrigerator a little while ago and it came within 3 days.

AW is the model sold in the Midwest. AG is the model of the Onyx color. Can't find the CW model you reference, perhaps something unique to a market like California?

How many amps does this gas dryer draw ?
Not much. Runs on a standard 15A 110V circuit along with the washer. Comes with a cord (as do all 110V appliances, don't let them get confused and sell you a 220V cord set).
